it is a team effort, but your "kobe bryant" level player is suppose to win a first round series. no excuses.

Nobody said he was Kobe Bryant in 2006 or 2007.
He was close or being Kobe Bryant in Orlando 2002/2003

and Kobe's team with Kwame Brown and players not named Bynum and Gasol are garbage either

Were you even a Rockets fan during that year?
I'm suspected you were not. That team was labeled the team to beat. Magic Johnson said we're the next "Kobe and Shaq".

Why don't you bring that game thread up and read what Rockets fans had to say. it was demoralizing and that was the series we had to question if we have the right superstars.

To lose in the first round with the home court, with healthy players. that was the worst.

Who thinks TMac goes to the HOF? If he does he probably has a long wait like Bernard King.

lol to suggest that a 4th place, borderline HC is the best and to lose to the 5th is the worst.
I don't know what it would feel like when Nowitzki's team was embarassed by the Warriors if you were a Mavs fan.

that is laughable. Magic was a better player than commentator.
McHale is a far better one at that before he turned coaching.

that doesn't change that he said it.

at that time, when the rockets were winning, everyone accepted it.

Shaq in his prime is 5x better than Yao.
With that being said Yao shoots better, was skilled but overall no contest.

Tmac already was on his decline 2006, 2007 from 2002. Sad but true.
Kobe was on his rise at that time
You are again trolling in a Tmac retirement thread.

I remember when Magic said that too. I've stated many times before as well that we should have never lost to the Jazz. We had the 2 best players on the court by far.. So I thought.

I agree on paper that we were Shaq and Kobe light. But overall strength goes to Shaq and Kobe. No contest again.

Kobe being durable, and mentally strong
Shaq was a monster, he just destroys everybody and Horry, Fisher in prime, most of those role players were killers and not comparable to the Rockets' role players

It's not like Rockets were not winning.... Jazz is a very bad matchup for that team.
If we get the Blazers back then, we would be in the second round.
