That one is on my list, but I was told it wasn't that good. Do I have prioritized other shows over it
It depends on your list, but I'm going to go out out a limb and say yes. Hayesfan, you are a machine! It seems every time I read this thread you have finished off another anime series.. I cant do it; it takes me months to do what you do in days.
Yeah I've got nothing else to watch right now... When basketball starts I'll be lucky to watch an episode a week! The two that have me stymied are one piece and full metal alchemist.. I started one piece and I'm almost through the first season.. But I only made it through the first four episodes of full metal... I think that is because every time Edward talks I think of tamaki from Ouran! I am also struggling with the monogatari series. I got through the first one bakemonogatari and started nisamonogatari, but it's a battle. The ones that I like I can cruise through in a few days
First half is great and the second half is decent, but is a huge drop off in comparison. Imo, it suffers mainly from character development aside from Kirito and asuna. Most of the people Kirito meets are one and done episodes. Some people overrate how good the show is and some exaggerate how bad it is. It's at least a solid 6 show.
It's just like they invented a whole pirate universe with East Blue West Blue North and South Blue, Gran Line, New world...... The best you don't even know all of the four Yonkais (Big Pirates) and it's been 600 episodes so far
I like it, but for some reason it's taking me a while to get really into it where I just can't wait to watch the next episode. Those are the ones I finish quickly
One Piece is the best anime I've ever seen. It's the best selling.manga of all time and even better in anime form. It's not the most popular series of all time and 600 episodes long for nothing. The excitement, storyline, and unpredictability is unlike anything I've seen.
Meh, 600+ episodes with a bunch of fillers isn't worth watching to me, unless you started from the beginning. Watched it back in 04-05 and wasn't too fond of it then. I'll stick to my less than 150 episodes of yu yu hakusho and hunter X hunter that do a fantastic job of little-to-no fillers and fights that aren't so dragged out. One of these days though I might just get a list of the "plot progressing" episodes and watch it. Only way I'd probably get it done.
@hayesfan: did you try the english dub for fma? it's pretty good. @rocketsred14: try reading the manga for one piece. and yeah, yyh ftw!
I'd love to, but I'm just not a Manga person. I like animations/sound more so than using my imagination. Still need to watch that whole thing. I'll get to it eventually.
Yes that's the ones I'm watching.. But every time Ed talks I hear Tamaki... Which throws me out of the story Speaking of which... Vic is goin to be at dragoncon... So I'm going to try and meet him... Also a guy from funimation is goin to be there... I am tempted to drop off a demo tape of my voice acting
So yeah, I'm posting here again to bump the thread... started back watching fma, and I'm doing better this time. Also finished My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU - it was pretty good... I'm sure it should get a second season Still struggling with One Piece, but I'm thinking I'll go back and forth between it and FMA and FMA Brotherhood until I catch up with them both
