City without both starting CBs but what a ****ing joke of a performance. Joe Hart being a moron and idiotic set piece defense. Cardiff played aggressively all day and hats off to them.
Considering I said stfu to a very good friend of mine as a joke....main reason i avoid posting on this board is having to deal with guys like you with sticks stuck up there ass.
United not buying does not entirely bother me. Look at Citeh. Big name players coming for about 100 million quid and then get embarrassed 3-2 at Cardiff. Buying does not equate to success. Sensible buying does. Perhaps United have just not found the right fit.
I feel like United needs 1 or 2 more pieces to beat Chelsea in the league this year though. Thoughts?
Yes, I would have dearly liked either Thiago or Strootman. Missing out on both was a huge blow. At this point, even a Fellaini would fit in well with this team. Having said that, Chelski are yet to show that they are real contenders. Mourinho is over-rated and the game is not played on paper. They struggled against Villa mid-week and had 3 big game changing decisions go their way. They could have very easily lost that game at home and the media would be singing a different tone. I am quietly confident in this United team even if we do not add more provided Rooney returns to the Rooney of old and plays with passion for United. This together with the growth of the youth from last season and the integration of the impressive Zaha and Januzaj makes United already better than last season.
You guys are forgetting the sleeping giant, LFC. We'll be going neck to neck with Chelsea for the trophy this year.
Or you couldn't even make a decent offer for the likes of Baines and Fellaini. United still has a week ass midfield and Moyes is underwater. City sunk 100 mil into attacking and then Kompany and Nastacic get hurt, leaving bollocks Javi Garcia in the middle. Joke.
Coutinho must create more chances and Sturridge isnt going to stay in form all season. LFC need Suarez.
Man we've given up on Suarez. We can only hope to find a suitable replacement that can complement Sturridge up front. I'm pretty sure something will come up after his ban is over and then he'll leave at season's end, if not January. Coutinho is the shiz though. Weird that nobody talks about him.
I loved Cardiff's early strategy of bombing it up field so their one guy could beat City's two guys. Spurs were clearly the better team versus Swansea but barely won. Not sure about them but they are the closest palatable team to me so I guess I am sticking with them. Chelsea should be it this year. They are my guilty pleasure because I really like some of the players and really dislike others. I would rather Mata not leave but seems a done deal.
2 games, 6 points. All well but the fact that we haven't scored in the run of play is somewhat worrisome. Paulinho, Capoue and Townsend have looked real good thus far #COYS On a related note, godspeed Gareth. It was fun. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cRZMjHzWXQc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Agreed. Paulinho has great control and a good striking foot. Capoue is relentless and physical. I love him stacked behind Dembele. Townsend is one of those effective but borderline out of control guys.
