Would it be a prequel to Saul working with Mike and Gus building his empire? That would be good stuff. Maybe some good cameos with hank and crazy 8.
Saul knew of those guys... but he was by no ways "integral" to the building up that empire. It will probably be more of Saul doing what he does on a daily basis... why his waiting room his constantly full... why he's so confident around any sort of cop, no matter what their rank or organization. Spinoffs that have close to zero connection with the original series (Fraiser from Cheers, L&S from happy days, etc.) usually work best. Ones that try to recapture the same magic with needless cameos, and repeated story lines are doomed for failure.
Anna Gunn's (actress who plays Skylar) Op-ed in the NYT it is basically her b****ing about how much hate her character gets and by association how much hate she gets.
she should be proud of that, means she is a good actress. now can we kill her already! kidding, I kind of like her now after not wanting to talk to hank
haha what? are you trying to argue b****ing is a sexist term? good greif. Also neg rep. keep your politics out of the hangout. Gunn is also just conceited. Nobody hates Hank or Gus and they are definitely antagonists to Walt in the series. Nobody hates the lady running the drug operation now (Lidia?) and she is an antagonist of Walts. It never crosses her mind that people may just find her acting unappealing. It must be we are all misogynists and want the wife to be 'put in her place' . She is wrong about Carmela Soprano. She was very well liked by the Soprano crowd.
Did anyone else almost cry when Walt was telling Jr. about his cancer? Pretty much using his guilt as leverage to keep him close. Yea me neither.
