If it's PPR go for Woodhead for sure. Woodhead could also be really good in normal leagues if injury prone Matthews goes down.

Powell would be my other guy, could be a starter from week 1 and has overall potential and TD potential, but that offense is terrible, but a starting RB is always worth having on your fantasy team.

Pitt is messy, maybe we find out a little more next week, but it'll be hard to tell, you have a 25% shot at getting a decent RB if you add one, but doesn't have fantastic upside.

    10. Others loaded up on QBS, K, and D/ST for some reason.

    Standard league.
Thanks. I'll go Powell for sure and will consider woodhead. Also, would you drop Boldin for Randle?

I'm the only person without at least a 2nd QB, K, or D/ST. I agree with you on Cameron, I love, love, love him. I couldn't believe someone dropped Gronk, but hey, this is the same league that Harvin went for $37, Crabtree $29, and Julio Jones who I got for $23.

I'd keep Boldin, there's the potential that he's the solid #1 receiver there and gets lots of targets, he's just a step slow and not as reliable as previously. Just keep a watch out on the waiver wire and don't be scared to drop Boldin if you need to grab someone. Watch out for which TE breaks out this year too, Davis has flop potential, really I only like Graham as TE and Gronk and Cameron as great values, but if one TE looks solid and Davis is doing mediocre, you could jump on them.

Honestly if you don't win your league, or at least get 2nd, just retire. It was a good run.

. I hope this isn't a money league because if it is, they might as well send you the money now.

Lol I know. And to make my team more dangerous, I'm trying to trade Stafford + bench wr for Newton or Kaepernick. The guys 2nd WR is Hilton, so Garcon, Shorts, or even Boldin should give him some depth

    STOP!!!!!!!

Kaep is not even better than Stafford, you're hrting yourself here. I would listen to an argument for Newton over Stafford, but not Kaep, don't do it.

I should just leave my team alone. I hope Bush stays healthy all year so Stafford can have someone other than Megatron to throw to.

Alright guys (and gals), I completed my big time $$$ League draft yesterday and would like some opinions as to how my team turned out. I say big time cause the pot this past year was over a grand.

Anyway its a QB driven league and I had the 3rd overall pick. Went QB first and shot from there. Here it is:

    QB - Tom Brady
    RB - Trent Richardson
    RB - Montee Ball
    WR - Victor Cruz
    WR - Eric Decker
    TE - Jimmy Graham
    DEF - Browns
    K - Garrett Hartley
    DL - Geno Atkins
    LB - D'Qwell Jackson
    DB - Harrison Smith

    Bench
    Sam Bradford
    Eddie Lacy
    Daryl Richardson
    Greg Jennings
    Chris Givens
    Fred Davis
    Graham Gano
    Cowgirls D
    Chris Long
    Lavonte David
    Tyran Mathieu

I honestly didn't want Ball but took him somehow, I think I still managed to add depth especially if he doesn't end up winning the starting job. So thoughts, I guess?

I like your team but here are a few points:
    1. A QB driven league? What does that mean exactly? I don't see any way to make QBs more valuable, so I would always wait on QB, the only way to make QBs more valuable is in like a 16 team league or a 2 QB league, where there is a higher demand. But I'll wait for your answer.
    2. Team looks very solid all around, you did well.
    3. Drop your back up Kicker and TE. There is no way you play any TE over Graham (besides Gronk) unless Graham gets injured, if he does, you pick up a solid option on the waiver wire. Back up Kicker, well, just never do it. So that opens up 2 roster spots to add some high upside guys to your roster. Think about this, Alfred Morris wasn't drafted in a lot of drafts last year (especially if you drafted earlier) so look for someone with high upside potential, if it works out, they could be a possible starter/trade bait, if it doesnt, drop them for the next guy that is breaking out.
    4. Mathieu? I hope yall get return points for players.
    5. Monte Ball might be your worst running back. He can't block, Peyton gets destroyed when he misses blocks, I expect him to only play short to go downs and red zone, so Lacy and Richardson will be more effective. With those 2 roster spots you opened you could try to grab like Hillman or Morenoe and wait to see how it plays out and move on from there.
    6. Your league plays team DEF AND IDP? Strange...

The 1st three picks of the draft were Rodgers, Breed, and I took Brady.

Basically the total amount of points the QBs scored in this league were about 750. Rodgers' points were near 800 total. In this league QBs easily average 35+ points a game.

The league settings are pretty strange as well. You have position lineup limits and must meet those limits thru the draft. I typically don't draft 2 kickers, defenses, or tight ends especially if I have the best in the league, so basically I have these guys as a must.

Our pot grows per transaction made on the waiver wire, at $10 per. So that's probably why they set the roster position limits.

Also I do agree Ball is my weakest link but I'm hoping someone becomes desperate for a RB trades me something of value for him. I like Ball the player but he needs time to develop especially this year. Next year he should be an early round pick, IMO.

I like Matheiu and I took him in the last round. So its low risk high reward bench pick again drafting based on position limitations.

Hope this explains and thanks for you guy's thoughts Pun and ivenovember.

Okay, that explains a lot then.
Yeah, Ball's problem will be staying on the field not because of his running but because of his blocking, I agree that next year he'll probably be a high 2nd round pick.
The QB explanation makes sense but just because they score a lot more doesn't necessarily mean they are worth more. Still look at the difference in value, but it sounds like you did so that makes sense then.

I just drafted my GF's team in a QB driven league (1pt=20yds passing, 6pt=PTD) and it looks like we went in similar directions. Grabbed Manning (similar to Brady IMO), Richardson, Lacy, Graham and Cruz. I think her WR2 is better than yours (Amendola) and she has D. Wilson. Sucker. 10 team league though.

Had a chance to grab Amendola. I'm passing on him and McFadden cause their injury history is debacling to a fantasy team.

Lucky broad! I wanted Wilson but he was drafted a few slots before I accidentally chose Ball. That's probably the reason I messed that pick up.

Ours is 12 team league. Busta!
