Picked up a Hisense Sero 7 Pro from Wal-Mart for 140 with tax. Basically, their version of the original Nexus 7 but with MicroSD, rear camera, and Mini HDMI-out. Has been running great since I got it last week. Installed a Custom ROM from XDA and has been running like a champ, but to be honest, I believe ALL Android tablet should have at least 2GB of RAM; It seems to be the sweet spot to have smooth performance on Android (I have a Note 2 and it's smooth).

But, I carry around my Thinkpad X230 since I like having a full-blown OS to work with.

I picked up the Hisense on the first day it came out. It was priced at 150 then. They dropped the price recently. I heard some rumours that Walmart has decided not to carry the product any more due to poor sales. That being said my Hisense works pretty well other than the GPS being kind of spotty.

They have been selling like hotcakes once the 129.99 deal went live on Slickdeals.

Does your GPS work well on your unit? Mine doesn't work all the time. Not sure if it is an issue with just my unit or in general.

Has been working fine with Google Maps and apps that use location-based store finders.
