Put both your palms facing away from you. Your thumbs should be close to each other. Rapidly move your hands out to the sides, away from each other. You've just acted like Ben Affleck in at least two scenes of every movie he's been.
Hm....are you for real or just trolling?? Each individually is ok but combined is stupid? They had a whole comic based on Batman and Superman together. I am not an Avengers movie fan but that and Xmen proved that it can work. They are doing this instead of going right into Justice League to ease people into it. That being said....Ben Affleck as Batman makes me think of the 90s Batman movies. Not the direction I was hoping for but oh well.
Nope, not trolling. Thats just my opinion. I've never been big in the genre to begin with, and I'm sure I'm in the minority.
What a TERRIBLE choice. I don't dislike Affleck, but I can not see him as Batman. I feel like we're going back into the sh!tty Batman's of the 90s. He would fit right in with Jim Carrey, Arnold, and DeVito.
Shoot, it may be released straight to DVD...jk, I'm sure it will make a killing, but I can't imagine it will be anything as good as the last three.
I didn't have much hope for this movie anyway. I think it's a bad idea, generally. Just because something makes for a fun comic book doesn't mean it will necessarily translate to the big screen. But people get freaked about the choice of actor for a role ahead of time all the time....only to find out the person does pretty well. Ledger, of course, is the most notable example.
He looks the part, but it will be hard to disassociate our view of him. It would have been better to go with a relatively unknown actor. Christian Bale probably turned down a lot of money.
This is almost comparable to Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in the "Jobs" movie The likeness is there and the acting effort, but anti-Ashton sentiment dulls the credibility and can't take it seriously and it struggles at the box office Though I still expect this movie to make tons of cash. I think a "relatively known" actor would have been good. Just someone moderately respected enough. Not too unknown cuz then people wouldnt get "into" it and itd seem like its 2 guys getting "dream roles" they don't deserve. But then not a well known putz either. (And I don't like a person playing more than 1 superhero)
Are you guys concern about Affleck being Bruce Wayne or Batman? Affleck has range, maybe not as much as Bale but this might be the case to step up his acting abilities. As for Batman, he's wearing a cape and cowl??? Not that big of a deal. Bruce Wayne is arguable though.
I'll just leave this here and be on my way.... http://geektyrant.com/news/2012/5/2...on-to-heath-ledger-being-cast-as-the-jok.html
I don't really care about the casting. I'm completely burned out on the genre. How many batmans do we really need in the first place?
