See, this is how it all starts. Not everybody is a fan from the jump. It can take something as one player or a simple poster to get it started. Here, we are so quick to jump down a new fans throat because they weren't "always a fan". At one time, were we all new fans. Instead of beating them down, lets embrace all the new fans that genuinely want to be part of this team. You know, doesn't hurt to be nice on the Internet once in a while.
Great story pimpn and welcome aboard the Best Forum around. I am a big fan of the Hakeem and the Rockets as well and the Dream Shake was a part of my arsenal.
Please don't start this, and create some straw-man here. It's always been about the type of fan you are now. Even the most hardened Tinman trolls are quick to respect new fans with a balanced view and an interest in learning. When people get into debates, it's always easy to point at your join-date or your post-count. In the end, your love for the team (or lack thereof) is what really shows.
and you have been here long enough to know that isnt how it works here at all in most cases. Maybe the drama surrounding Lin has made you forget that. If you come here with a honest and open desire to be a fan of the *team*, you will be welcomed with open arms. It would be his vocabulary in this case, his wife is swedish so I would imagine he didnt bother to use google translate. In any case, continue to post like you are now and you should have no problems. Welcome to the board and to the fanbase. Then why are you showing posting from California? Maybe you meant you are from Stockholm?
Lol BS. No one is beating down anyone for not always having been a fan. The problem is one that has been said many times so stop being a drama queen.
Nice story! Since we are all coming out, I'm a Swedish Rockets fan as well. I don't have as cool a story though.
