ESPN is making it seem like he's blaming the coaches, when he's clearly blaming expectations he set upon himself / trying to live up to "Linsanity"

I think everything he's said is fair.

You mean just like how you put up a Miami highlight or a Lin fail video in a Rockets forum. Jesus Christ. Just say you hate the guy and get it over with.

I don't hate Lin. you know it, that's what irks you.

Someone asked why I use the term "Mario Chalmers"

I put the video as reference to why Lin fans don't like Mario Chalmers. That was a reference to when Lin was with the Knicks.

Do I have to educate you about Jeremy Lin?? Apparently you know nothing about him.

I met the guy, I talked to him, I saw his movie, I went to see a game where he played.

I'm just a superior Lin fan, even though I'm not a LOF!

Damn son! Like Ice Cube said, BOW DOWN!

Why would that irk me? But I am grateful for some of those flashback songs. I'm bumping N2Deep Back to the Hotel as I'm typing after that Faith No More reference, lol.

When did Lin fans here ever not like Mario Chalmers? Can you link some examples of Lin fans here ever berating Mario Chalmers?

I don't think I've ever seen Lin fans bring up an opposing player for doing well against Lin. The only people who reference Chalmers are Lin haters and Lin-fan haters trying to remind people about Lin's flaws.

You know business is slow at CF when Tinman trolls a Lin thread relentlessly.

Jeremy is moving on. Maybe we should too.

I think it's great that Lin is reflective and I don't want to misinterpret his christian message in this speechthough I can't help but feel from his comments that he doesn't have (and never will have) the burning desire to be great that all star players have.

Also, at 1:46:40 he mentions Monta Ellis and sort of implies he can't read! Is that something he's ok with being shared with the world?

"The moral of that story is, you need a foundation before you can help others[monta ellis reading to little kids]."

lmfao Lin is a dick. That's some pretty unintentionally funny stuff though. Monta Ellis probably won't hear about it but that's messed up.

Ellis was obviously making a joke, and Lin was just repeating it to illustrate the point - that you can't expect to help others in something if you don't have a foundation yourself.

You really think that Lin is revealing to the world that Monta Ellis can't read? Really?
