I've had that same nightmare multiple times and its ****ing scary each time lol. Another one is sometimes I wake up thinking I'm still a few credits short of graduation then I wake up and realize I'm okay. Another one is I used to skip classes so many times that I'd forget we had a midterm or final and freak out when my friend/class mates ask if I'm ready for the test. I still wake up thinking I forgot to study and I have a midterm sometimes. I've been done with school for nearly 8 years now but the nightmares are still fresh haha.

Do you sleep belly side up? I had it happen twice (both times sleeping belly side up) always sleep on my side now. I never wanna have it happen again its seriously the worst feeling
Uggh, I just hate in dreams when you think you are in pain when really nothing is happening at all. I jot down my dreams on a flash drive when I remember them and can think of the perfect dream for this. Let me try to find it.
I had a nightmare when I was young that Michael Jackson was coming for me. It sounds weird but I was terrified of him for months. I thought I would wake up and he would be in my room trying to get me or something. It was all right after he was first accused of child molestation.
I'd say my worst nightmares are the ones where my body physically gets affected. High tingling sensations. I've had feelings of possession almost. Like I am being shown a birdseye view of a place and it gets closer and closer like a basement or something. then I hear an evil lady laugh and my entire body gets struck with a tingling sensation. I get really cold, and I can tell I am cold even though I am asleep. Once the tingling get's too extreme I wake up. I am freezing like crazy although my room is only at like 70 degrees the lowest. I from there pray like crazy hoping whatever was trying to get in contact with me or take over my body goes away. Not sure if it's really a nightmare or more of a paranormal event.
I always have a dream that I am living in a house different than the one I actually lived in like somehow I was forced to move.
Definitely a TL;DR for some so I spoilered it. This dream occurred in August 2012. Just for the record I have pretty vivid dreams a lot and write them down if I can remember them. This is one dream I never want to have again. Spoiler I start off the dream going to the convenience store near my house. I was going to grab a drink and some snacks. On my way there I run into a very pretty girl and strike up a conversation with her. We hit it off and I tell her we should hang out some time. She says I could come back with her to her place right around the corner, so I agree and go with her to check it out. As she leads me in it is a two story house but filled with lots of junk. Apparently this girl still lives with her family, and has younger brothers and sisters running around. I'm there for maybe an hour and say I'm going to go back to my place and that I'd like to see her again. She is walking me out and when I open the door and step out I am all of a sudden in a new place filled with stone walls and high windows. It looks like some sort of castle. I look around and see the same girl there but this room is filled with maybe 100 other people. Everyone is looking very confused and I assume they happened to get here the same crazy way I did. A tall man in an all black suit and slicked back hair walks up and begins telling everyone to follow him. We follow him into what looks like a large dining hall with chandeliers and candles everywhere and an empty chalice on each table. Everybody takes a seat; filling the entire hall. The doors of the room disappear and the man in the suit begins walking up and down the aisles not saying a word. A guy stands up and asks why we are here and the man in the suit punches him in the stomach knocking him to the ground. Just when he did that the chalices start to have a black ooze filling it up mysteriously but very slowly. The man in the suit then begins asking people questions about life, morality, religion, politics, etc; questioning people’s beliefs and making everyone feel terribly uneasy. I say that he needs to let us go now and we outnumber him. When I say that he laughs, walks up to me, grabs a club from out of nowhere and slams it against my palm which is on the table, breaking completely while pain shoots all over me. I'm screaming and wrenching about, cursing this man. The chalices are still slowly filling, maybe about 1/4 full now. I come to realize this man must be the devil and he is torturing us for his amusement. I speak up again, telling him to let us go. This time he approaches me and displays an axe in his hand. He swings it at me and I lunge back lifting my hand towards my face to protect it. The axe connects with me severing the forearm that is attached to my maimed hand. Once again I scream out in pain and quickly stop speaking. As a lay there bleeding he asks me questions about God, questions about the world, questions about life, but I quit speaking to him altogether. I figure each response will result in more pain. He takes note that I am silent to him and walks up to a women sitting at a table. He grabs her by the hair, picks her up while staring at me and slices her throat with a knife. Blood is pouring everywhere and people everywhere begin screaming. He drops her and she collapses to the floor, completely lifeless. The chalices are maybe about half full now of this black liquid. The devil continues walking around the room, tormenting people, hurting them, asking them questions and the whole time all I can wonder is how I got here and if I will ever leave. He laughs at us and says it will all be over soon; I figure he means to kill us all. He stands at a podium at the head of the room and says a 'Thank you' to all of his guests and that he wish he could spend more time with us. The chalices are now full and begin to overflow. Just as some drops spill on the table I am suddenly back in the parking lot of the convenience store I was at earlier, the girl still next to me. We look at each other, hug it out that we made it out alive, not a word is spoken and then we just go our separate ways. As I open the door and step back into my house, I wake up. I figured the black ooze was just pain and suffering filling the cups and when they overflowed and we had had enough that we no longer had to suffer there any longer. When I woke up I just sat up in bed, contemplating what just happened in my dream and not going back to sleep, just staying awake for the last hour or so I had before my alarm went off so that I wouldn't fall back into the dream.
I have a recurring nightmare that my high school made a mistake and I didn't really have enough credits to graduate. So I get fired from my job and have to go back and everyone is laughing at me like Adam Sandler with the Billy Squire blasting from his Trans-Am in Billy Madison. Spoiler I have this dream all the time. I wonder what it really means.
I used to have a dream when I was a kid that scared the hell out of me. It's funny looking back on it though. Anyway, the intro to Tales from the Crypt was a POV walk through the Crypt Keeper's mansion and at the end of the intro, you would get to his casket and he would pop up and do his creepy laugh. I would have the dream that I was going through his mansion, but I'd always wake up right before he popped up. Gave me the creeps back in the day.
An 8am college Algebra exam Freshman year. I didn't get much sleep and when I got to class I start hyperventilating and having a panic attack, started sweating profusely. It was horrible. Never scheduled a class before 10am after that, whew.
don't have nightmares, though I am one of those people who remember their dreams every morning from the night before. I can even get up in the middle of the night, go to the bathroom, get a drink of water, and go back to bed and resume my dream. what I do get though every once in a blue moon is a really strong sensation of vertigo. like i'll be walking down the sidewalk (in my dream), then all of a sudden i'll trip and fall face-forward, usually waking me up instantaneously. it's pretty intense as it throw me out of REM sleep to straight wide-eyed awake in about half a second.
Triple sat? ****, I've had server dreams where I've walked into a room where 20 or so tables were all just sat, and they're all mine. I go to the first one, and the guests there keep me there for 10 minutes talking to me, trying to make up their minds while the other tables just stare at me and grumble...
