I was talking about some of the details that we've never heard before from him. I should have said "open". My bad.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but if you consider his circumstances, he's always had to play with a chip on his shoulder, and amongst all the hate and criticism I don't think he reached the point in his career where he wouldn't have to worry about his stats and just let things happen. He's had to go out and PROVE people wrong his whole life. Hopefully the fact that he was able to finish the season on a good note as the starter (minus the playoffs) can help him establish some comfort in his role
I keep asking what is your point since I feel you have pointless arguments, but feel it is not very nice to say it that way. Unfortunately, you comes back with some more pointless argument. However, just for the sake of argument: 1) You have a really bad analogy. Really? you are comparing Jeremy Lin to LBJ? And you are using LBJ as example to support what? Jeremy is not as good as LBJ in filling arena seats? Nobody is arguing with you about that. They are different level players. Glad you are not a 2012er, otherwise you will for sure be taken as a delusional LOF. 2)Jeremy not as good as LBJ in filling seats is not equal to Jeremy did not help in filling up arena. You don't need to be absolutely the best in order to be good. That is, your example of LBJ is way better than Jeremy still do not support your argument that Jeremy did not help filling seats in TC. 3) according to ESPN, in 2012-2013 season, Rockets TC attendance averaged 92.4% through out 41 games. Rockets in 2011-2012 season, TC attendance averaged 85.1%. That's almost 7% increase. (with Jeremy Lin). I'm not concluding that Jeremy is the only reason for that 7% increase, we do had an exciting team last year. I'm only put the data here to say that your argument is not right. 4) you should not use total attendance ranking to compare seat filling effect, since different arena has different capacity. American Airlines Arena fits 19,600 whereas Toyota Center fits 18,043. That's a good 1500 capacity difference, and multiply that by 41 games, difference could be big. Though Miami does has better attendance, but they are championship team, come on. 5) I'm not from Huston, but I could see the empty seats on TV. Come on, what happens to all those ROFs? You guys spend way more energy in fighting so called LOFs, dissing your own starting PG on the team than shown your support to your team. 6) I notice you keep saying "what's your point?" that translates to "I don't understand you cause you know way more than me" You know what, I would have no problem to admit you know way more than me, it is not a shame since nobody would be expert of everything, and you obviously would have something that you are good at and knowledgeable, but the way you put it, LOL, like a kindergarten kid.....
What is this calling people 'Mario Chalmers' referring to? I must have missed it... can someone please explain thanks.
The whole thing is overblown. Here is a young man giving a Christian testimony to 20000 young people about the importance of self-identity by opening up his own struggles and mistakes. As an example, he shared his own a mistake to get his self-identity wrapped up in the Linsanity hype which brought no joy and stress, even got his coaches to lose faith in him. But he finally listened to his God's voice to simply give his best so he managed to play better. He encouraged young people not to make the same mistake that he did by wrapping up their self-identity in 3 things in the world (money, worldly success and human approval). It's all good thing to encourage young people, right? He even opened up his mistakes. How did ESPN and other media turn this into "Jeremy Lin blaming coaches" or "How dare Jeremy Lin thought he was supposed to save Houston?" The young man only tried to do a good thing but got twisted by the money-making media. And cursed by radio guys. No wonder there are not more of good guys in the media. Good news don't make enough money for the mainstream media. Jeremy Lin Shares Struggles Behind 'Linsanity' Hype (Video)
There's that movie Lost in Translation, some people don't understand the ending. It seems that you are that way. My points are simple. I use normal english to express them. You don't need to understand what Bill Murray told Scarlett Johansenn to understand the ending.
Tell me where I'm dissing my own PG? Use the actual quote not what your paranoid mind is thinking. I've been to a Rockets game where Lin has been playing. I think I can speak on the Toyota Center because I've been there to see the Rockets pre-Lin and during Lin. Imagine if I start telling you about your house, but I never stepped in it...that's what you are doing. It's like people from New York City trying to tell Texans about BBQ. Or Birds in the air telling dolphins how to swim. Or Tracy McGrady telling Kobe Bryant about the NBA Finals. You see? that's what you are doing.
Oh nevermind I get it... cause he stole the ball from him that one time? Why not Norris Cole? He did it too.
Why is Tinman comparing Lin with LBJ about filling seats in the first place yo? Fame/Popularity : LBJ>Lin Skills : LBJ>Lin Salary : LBJ>Lin Championships : LBJ>Lin Yeah LBJ better fill those seats. Should'nt you compare Lin with other players of same lvl? Salary or whatever.
He defended him rather well. Lin fans here don't like Mario Chalmers <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/lD9W2sUKZUo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
