He's just mad because if you poll 100 college football fans across the country, only a handful would even know who David Ash is.
LSU to visit A&M on Thanksgiving ’14 The Southeastern Conference will release its 2014 football schedule Wednesday, with LSU to play Kentucky as its second opponent out of the SEC East and Texas A&M on the final weekend of the regular season, a source familiar with the situation said. LSU will play Kentucky in Tiger Stadium. The Tigers’ game at Texas A&M will be on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, per the Aggies’ wishes. LSU will not be playing home games against Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day, the source said. As has been the case with the LSU-Arkansas game, the Tigers will play the Aggies in Tiger Stadium on Fridays or Saturdays to end the season. [MORE]
lol even Ricky Williams, of all people, is piling on: http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...er-heisman-winner-ricky-williams-rips-manziel
I read those "Williams rips Manziel" headlines and figured he said something completely horrible about the kid. But honestly, I don't think Manziel would necessarily disagree with that statement.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sumlin bolts before this even happens. Maybe that nice $1 million raise will keep him around.
Ha, Chancellor John Sharp calling out Darren Rovell. As you are all aware, our Heisman Trophy winning, freshman quarterback has been very popular this summer! I hope you saw that I recently supported him at the opening of the Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth. While I did confirm that it was a personal view, my motivation was based on the fact we have had ongoing and productive dialogue with the NCAA during their investigation, as required. However, some members of the media have chosen to declare #2 guilty with no evidence whatsoever. Darren Rovell of ESPN, who broke this story, has been duped before. During his report on Johnny Manziel, he cites unnamed sources who refuse to provide an interview or any tangible proof. In fact, his "named source," Drew Tieman (initially referred to as the broker), was reportedly booked twice for possession of mar1juana and placed on four years probation. He has taken down his Facebook page, changed his telephone number and is refusing attempts to be interviewed by the NCAA. It is surprising that the nation's largest sports channel would support publication with this lack of corroboration. I look forward to the start of this football season and am confident that we'll once again exceed expectations during our second season in the SEC. We should all be very proud of what Coach Sumlin and his staff are accomplishing here in Aggieland.
lol quit trolling bro you're trying too hard. Stick to the D&D you'll have better luck there getting a rise out of people who don't know any better. Back to the topic at hand, I like me some John Sharp! Ever since he got here he brought a fearless, tough attitude to the University as a whole, a true breath of fresh air after all the crap McKinney put us through as the chancellor. Very excited for the season despite the fact that we start with 2 scrimmages before the Bama game lol.

so if he transfers and Johnny has to sit, they're left with a freshman (Hill)? or maybe Joeckel I guess. this hurts
Dammnnn! Yeah, teams shouldn't go after 5 star QB's ever. Sumlin will be back in CUSA by 2014 coaching ECU (no clue what conference any team is anymore).

Any regrets at all on making the comments?" John Sharp: "Not at all, not at all. I know he's innocent. I know that he didn't do what they accused him of doing, and I think that it's time that we, once we knew what the facts are and we know the facts...and I've seen what everybody else has seen now, and the rest of the country is going to get to see that before it's over with. It was a bunch of hype journalism. Fullhart: "How do you know he didn't do it?" Sharp: "I just know. I've seen things that other folks can't see. And it didn't happen. It did not happen." Fullhart: "Have you heard from him as well, straight from his mouth?" Sharp: "Don't have to. I don't have to hear from him. I don't have to hear from him. I can hear from his original accusers and what they're saying now. Didn't happen, and I hate it that he would go through it, and I think we all ought to look at it from a point of view of, what if that were our son that was going through that? So take your time look at everything that happened and I don't have any doubt that Johnny Manziel is innocent of stuff that they were throwing at him." Fullhart: "And if that is the case, should there be repercussions at some level? Can you even foresee that? Obviously there is a free press in this country. They may make a mistake…" Sharp: "No, I believe in the free press. I think you ought to be able to call anybody anything you want to, and that's what happens. It happens in politics, and it happens in everything else. Fortunately for us, 99.9 percent of the press is great and responsible, especially you. We shouldn't have any gripes about it, but when we see something that, in our mind, is egregious, we shouldn't just sit back and say we're going to take that slap in the face at Texas A&M or we're going to allow one of ours to take that slap in that face. We're going to speak out, and in my opinion, that's what I did." Link
