seriously, why don't you quit your butt-hurt attention whoring and trolling and exit the thread if you dislike the show so much? Never understood why someone would waste so much energy to be negative on something he/she doesn't care much for. Let me guess, you're a right winger who gets butthurt from Sorkin's liberal ideals, aren't you? Now back to the adult conversation, love the show. Season 2 was up to a slow start but it's picking up quite nicely. Still waiting on an episode to match the great ones from season 1, more specifically ep4 and 5. What's funny is how Don's character has progressed since the first episode of the show. I was sure I was gonna hate him after his confrontations with Will in the pilot, but he has since become my favorite character on the show. The humor and intensity he brings to the show are awesome.
Lol, I'm sure they'd determine the "scandal" aspect of it non news worthy during a production meeting in their glass room.
This show is not the news. To enjoy it, you likely have to agree with Aaron Sorkin's world view. Much in the way you'll enjoy The Wire more if you're predisposed to agreeing with David Simon, who just so happens to be a better at making a point than Sorkin. The show has a lot of criticism fairly given to it. The romance is forced and over-bearing and the reliance on the "This is how the story should've happened" device is lazy. That said, nobody forces you to watch a fictional show, filled with fictional characters fictionally react to past events.
I actually enjoy the show apart from the Sorkin worldview. I'm sure Hurricane Sandy is coming. They could play it up all GoT style. Sandy is coming...
Probably true. It wasn't news worth in real life, either. Imagined fantasies from one side that should've been dismissed instead of having fuel added to it.
This season is picking up nicely. Spoiler The basketball game in the background was a dead giveaway. It was beyond obvious that the interview was doctored.
It seemed like the writer was trying to say something about people who are critical of Obama. I like Neil's and Don's character.
Finally caught up...and switching to uverse tomorrow with HBO included in the package. Won't have to use couchtuner anymore. It got me here...but the ride was painful at times. I like where this season is going after a fairly slow start. Yes, I'm left-of center and have enjoyed just about all of Sorkin's work. I wasn't that into Sports Night but I was addicted to The West Wing. I was really enjoying Studio 60 before it got cancelled. That said, I don't see why anyone couldn't enjoy the fictional show that it is despite their political leanings. It would appear that they are about weeks before Benghazi, so that will likely come into play within the next couple of episodes.
I agree, this season started off slowly but it's starting to pick up. Next week's should be very interesting.
I get the people who hate this show because it's very liberal, but I'm pretty conservative myself and I'm a huge fan. Though I am glad that they have strayed away from the Occupy arc the last few episodes. They've got bigger events to cover I suppose. I really want them to have Will and Mackenzie express some kind of feelings for eachother. I think it's building that way, and expect it to happen soon, but It'll be interested when it finally happens
I actually think Don and Mac may have a fling that kickstarts Will and Mac again. Right now he is being brainwashed by the gossip girl. I really wish the DC guy hadn't of edited the video.
I know eventually Don and Sloan but if you watched last episode Don and Mac had a moment that I think will be a catalyst for Don and Sloan as well as Will and Mac. I think them hooking up and having a one nighter will push Sloan and Will.
