Interview from last week, I believe, where he says he would have gone to UNC over Duke, Tmac being a tough opponent (there is a thread for that), among other things. It's almost an hour long and I've only seen half, so far. Most of the details are public knowledge, but it's always interesting to hear certain things from the player himself. He did say the clips told him he had the greatest work out they've ever had, but wouldn't be picking him because they worried the public wouldn't take them seriously for picking a 17 year old kid. Would've attended UNC to get a chance to compete with Carter every day. <object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/Z2tfaJy0Klw?hl=en_US&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/Z2tfaJy0Klw?hl=en_US&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
It's around the halfway point. It didn't really go anywhere because Kobe called him a really nice guy, but said they just had different viewpoints on how they should play to win a ring. Towards the end, he mentions Harden, as one of the players he likes to watch and thinks are very competitive.
I always thought he would have choose Duke over UNC. UNC already had VC and Jamison on board. Add Kobe and that would have been a sick squad.
Hmm I didn't see where he discussed getting away with raping a teenage girl. I will watch the second half later, maybe it is discussed later in the interview.
C'mon guys. You can hate Kobe but you have I respect him as a player. I'm glad I got to watch him play.
Pray for the bear. I don't care what the roster looks like or how strong the west is. I'm still afraid that the lakers have a chance to win this year. You can't ever underestimate the heart of a champion and the lakers have the hardest competitor in the league and if he comes back healthy they're still a contender.
