I still don't get what's good about the rings only going half way around. That, to me, basically screws the Knicks' look, but mostly I just don't get why a designer would do that.

    A) The added stripes irritate players' under arms.
    B) It's a newer style. Portland's alternates look great with them, and New York of course looks great as well. It's a clean look.

I hate that as well. Really no need, just ruins an otherwise good look. I prefer the Knicks throwbacks because they have the full trim.

Also I liked the project 34 design.
I really don't like our alts. Too much yellow. I like red and gold, but it has to me mostly red and white with yellow accents. Our alts are just a generic design.

Project34 had the right idea, but the design failed on the jersey's cut (again, too potato sacky), and its blocky/kindergarten font.

That was designed by a member here, who got a lot of positive feedback for his design, so i'd be more cautious about what you say. You're likely to find not many share your opinion.

I have noticed that people are more positive about good photoshop work, regardless of the design.

Project34 was done very well, and looks professional compared to most other artwork around.

People rate professional-looking artwork higher because it visually looks good due to the superior work, and they pay less attention to the actual design.

That may be, but it's far from "disgusting" and lacking fashion sense. If anything, he modeled it after what fans were asking for at the time. A simple design, with elements from the championship uni, but with a more modern look. That's a bigger reason why people liked it. IIRC, that wasn't even his original design. It was blue and modeled after the 96 jerseys, but posters asked him to change it to fit the other uniform. IMO, the original was a better looking uniform.

    He's also done these:

I really want to know how that guy does his work. I enjoy photoshopping uniforms, and I'd love to know how he does it. Because it looks great.

That is ugly. Looks like a mesh between our current jerseys and the pajama jerseys

anything that isn't based off of Yellow/Gold and Red is a failure in my eyes

2014-2015 seems like a perfect year for a uniform reboot. Sell a bunch of 2013 Howard/Harden jerseys to bandwagoners, then superpunch them in 2014 with new uniforms to buy.

Red and yellow reminds me too much of McDonalds or ketchup & mustard.

I do think new unis are coming soon. More and more fans are speaking up, there is no way they don't see how many threads pop up here over a season. Plus, we have Parsons asking for them too. Next year makes perfect sense.

    It's a red Orlando jersey.....
