Yeah jealous of a no pedigree, chump change bragging jokeshop?

Does it motivate you to feel better about yourself for eating at nice restaurant? thats f-ing sad. seriously. I mean seriously just take a step back for a moment and look at this.

Like no one else here has ever had a nice meal?
Does it motivate you to brag on a basketball bbs when there are countless others here with more cash and class than you could ever dream of?

Does it motivate you that everyone ..and I mean pretty much EVERYONE here thinks you are a raging poser dork?

    That has to be it.

I just don't think you get it. The ship has sailed.

It's so transparent that you hate yourself so much that you feel this need to come on to a message board and project your hatred of yourself onto others.

Why is that? Open up and become real for a moment. Are you a middle child? Did you go to school with some rich kids that wouldnt let you play with their fancy toys? It's acute and EVERYONE sees it. I know guys like you. They take you around their house showing their bangolufsen and fiskar electric. Once they show you all their toys.. you realize how much they hate themselves for having NOTHING.

And btw the stuff you brag about goes back to pedigree and the reality that you have no idea what you are talking about. Anyone that half knows anything ( as in people with real money) sees right through it.

But you just can't help yourself.not even for like one second. I thought for sure you were another troll account ..but I am actually beginning to believe you are actually this raging of a poser.

If I eat at a nice place thats great. I dont need to pat myself on the back on an internet message board ( extremely sad) and guess what I had a nice meal. BFD.

Every single thread like this is some excuse to brag. Its just sad since your wealth is chump change to those that matter in the real $ world.

Like I said no pedigree. If I were you I would strongly consider moniker suicide and a new schtick. If this were school I would consider transferring.

    you stink of being.

    IBTL meltdown. RAGE!!!!!!!!11eleven

I happen to have a love of great food and great wine. Sorry if that makes you feel insecure.

I am a very happy, very secure person. Don't feel so threatened by it.

Love me some Asian food, not sure if these have been mentioned but here are some of my favorites:

    (1) Vieng Thai: best thai food in town, located on Long Point between Antoine and Silber. It's also BYOB, so I always bring my own bottle of wine.

    (2) Banana Leaf: awesome Malaysian food. if you've never had it, Malaysian food is basically a mix of Chinese (with 10x more flavor), Indian, and Thai food. 2 Locations on Bellaire at Corporate Dr

    (3) Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot: I've never had hot pot any better than this. The spicy broth in the soup is amazing. I always order lamb meat and can't help but think of the Little Sheep logo when I put it in my mouth

Lately it's been Carrabbas in Copperfield. Pretty good food, always good service, and they're open late which is cool.

IBTL melted down bad. Who writes walls of text over something so trivial as someone enjoying nice restaurants? Somebody needs to check his blood pressure.

Have you tried Merlion in Seabrook on 4th, near the lake. Excellent Thai seafood. Just get the seafood though. The beef is nothing spectacular like the seafood is. Raad Prick is my favorite.

uhhh...isn't the thread about favorite restaurants, which is what he mentioned?

as I stated before, some of you need to take this grudge **** back to the D&D. I'm sure there are 10 threads started by texx where the two of you can continue throwing e-blows!

BTW, one great place I ate at recently was Underbelly. Very good.

Their cornmeal pork chop, whoa so nice! I also tried the wife's lamb meat balls or whatever they were, first time I'd ever eaten lamb and it was delicious even in that green sauce that usually scares me away.

Completely for got about this place.

Mala is fantastic, but the problem I have with them is that the wait is really long & the restaurant is tiny. If they would move or expand I'd probably go more often

I've got a couple that haven't been mentioned....at least not to my knowledge.

Ibiza- Love this place. Everything I've had has been great. home of my favorite app ever...roasted beets, morcilla sausage and local goat cheese.

My "go to" for Italian is Dolce Vita....great food, not expensive. Taleggio pizza is great.

    IBTL- :lulz

Hmmm, I find it really hard to think of my all-time favorite restaurant. It's easier to break it down by cuisine. For Lebanese food, I love Abdullahs on Hillcroft, but they got a new chef years back and a lot of things don't taste the same. I'm sure there are much better places, but I grew up going there so I love it. Also, the family that owns it was very close to my grandmother and set me up with all their cousins in Saida when I visited Lebanon.

Mexican - I love me some Lupe Tortillas fajitas.

Italian - Original Carrabbas on Kirby or Voss

Thai - Thai Cottage (only been to the one in Sugar Land, not sure how the others are)

Let's see what other major cuisines are there that I enjoy...I need to find a good Indian Food place...Clay Pit in Austin is pretty good.

I love me some Texas Chili Parlor, God I ate there like 4 times a week for like 4 months straight.

I'm in the west Dallas area, anybody got any recommendations for places I should check out?

Have you eaten at either of the family owned ones? So much better, imo. I haven't been to the Copperfield franchise, but the one in Austin/SA/and Sugar Land blow.

    Fort Worth
(I don't venture east of HWY 360 on purpose very often)

Seriously..Chicken Scratch over in the North Oak Cliff / Bishop Arts district of Dallas is pretty good stuff. If you go in the evenings (especially on weekends) it can get real busy and the line can get long - its attached to The Foundry which is a bar with some decent beers on tap.

Esparza's in Grapevine for TexMex. I heard there's a little Brazilian place in Irving thats awesome, but Haven't been there yet.

    Kincaids in Southlake for burgers

Tabella's in Kemah is top right now. I tend to bounce around. Peli Peli in Spring is also very good.

For comfort food, I go with Gringo's.
