It still works the same for the producers, since they know what's unfolding in the game in real time. The only difference is BB producers get the advantage of having audience feedback, but iI think the Survivor crew knows what will be good TV, or not, by now.
No point, just a silly inside joke among houseguests which the editors leveraged into drama for the viewing audience.
The longer aaryn stays in the house and continues to win people on the outside will forget just how awful a person she is... especially since Amanda is an even worse person... Jessie's booty in her eviction dress was... Sweet Jesus she will be missed...
Yeah, I think aaryn is slowly saving her rep. She still screwed up, but it is easier to believe she was ignorant and not truly racist. You can't argue with 4 HOHs and regaining control of herself, while others self destructed. She could really win this, but she has to split up mccrae and Amanda this week.
If she's smart she uses Amanda and McCray a bit longer and targets their main competition Helen and Elyssa this week.
I dont know if that's a good move....If you watch this last HOH comp, they all failed to pair up Amanda and Mcrae early on, so in the end they had a 2 in 3 shot to win it. Everyone is scared of them. it's one thing to be scared of one person, but a pair? Makes it much harder to get them out. As the numbers shrink, their chances of winning HOH increases week by week. Have to take them out the first chance you get at this point in the game. Helen has already been exposed, so she's an easier target going forward.
Man, Helen is really stupid. It was kind of funny watching her worry about losing Alyssa when Alyssa isn't going anywhere and it's her that's leaving (assuming she doesn't win POV). You know, we all hate Amanda, but this will be like the 5th week in a row that SHE decides who's going home without being HOH. Everyone in the house is so scared of pissing her off, but she never wins anything. I really don't get it. She's totally running the house and she never wins anything.
Mcrae's DR comment about Helen assuming she was easily in the final 2 cracked me up. And I agree about Amanda. I don't know what it is about her, but she doesn't elicit nearly the same hatred in me that Helen does. I guess it's because I can respect somebody who is just an effed up b**** and clear in their motives more than I can respect somebody who is fake as hell and preys on people's emotions. Amanda plays just like that old lady who lost in the finals to Adam the Oxycontin dealer (with a showmance added). Pure intimidation. Crazy as hell that it works. We shall see how far it gets her.
Amanda has certainly played a major role in who's been leaving the house. However, there's no way she's going to win because in order to do so she's going to have to win something when it gets down to the last five or so and she has proven to be totally useless in competitions thus far. This is why Aaryn has joined up with her and pizza boy. Even though she'd be outnumbered by the two of them she'd kick their @$$ in competitions.
I get winning competitions as a resume-builder in Survivor (more so, at least) but it's such a silly, overblown thing in BB. Who cares? It's just one way to stay in the house. The least impressive way. I don't care that Aaryn got lucky and a ball bounced in her favor on a roulette wheel, and neither should the jury voters.
Amanda has proven so skittish for someone who portrays herself as confident that she's hard to like, but if she gets to the end without winning competitions will be because she is a great player of this game. Winning isn't about who can find keys in the dark, it's about who can finesse the crowd into defeat. Her not winning competitions will only bolster her resume considering how much she has affected the ejections.
To each their own, but I don't really get the 'hate' (lack of a better word for it) for people who are fake or whatever. It's BB. It's about lying, covering up, hiding your moves. Everyone does it. My problem would be if players were adamant they never lied which everyone seems to convince themselves of at one point or another. That said, no denying Amanda has the best game despite being incredibly annoying. For all her bravado she is also the most sensitive and pretty amazing that she can't see the hypocrisy - 'how dare they try to turn the house against us!' But her bullying has built her up into a cult leader. Funny how everyone runs to her first when they get a juicy bit of info, as if they're looking for approval. It really feels like a cult syndrome going around the house. Agreed there. First of all, many players try to avoid winning comps. Second, many involve a lot of luck. It's not like an Olympic event or something. Same. A long time ago. Don't even watch the live show either. Just follow it on Twitter and Joker's. The amount of insulting things half the house says for no reason is such a turn off. Candice is long gone and they're still calling her a crack baby. Saying Elissa doesn't care for her step children. I'm puzzled more than anything for the hatred. And despite being the 2nd best manipulator in the house IMHO, Helen's major downfall is really bad choices on whom to trust and not. She still hasn't figured out Andy sells her out and she actually believed McCrae wanted an alliance w/ her over Amanda. Repeatedly disowns her biggest ally in Elissa, and campaigned to vote out all the people that would have easily sided w/ her over Amanda.
Well you missed a show last night. Aaryn vs Amanda, with Andy ****ting his pants and Spencer being dumb.
Some of the #stfuhelen stuff is hilarious. If Aaryn flips on Amanda she has the votes to get her out. If that happens then it's very likely that either her or GM will be in the best position to win it all. No matter what, whoever comes back into the house will be gunning for McManda, unless it's Amanda of course. Other than Elissa I don't like any of the girls left but I'll reluctantly admit that Amanda and Aaryn have played the best games so far, and Elissa is likely a shoe-in for America's favorite player. Big Brother will likely cast Amanda again, but with smarter players she won't be nearly as effective.
How, in your opinion, has Aaryn played a good game? She's essentially morphed herself into an HoH-winning floater. Makes moves that the power tells her to make. Dropping a ball into a roulette wheel and answering a couple trivia questions about challenges doesn't mean you are playing the best game, IMO.
Winning those HoH's counts for something no matter what she does with them. Don't get me wrong, I don't like her but she's by far the best competitor of the season.
