Oh... and the hollow chalkboard is simply ingenious. We all know McHale doesn't really have any game plans

Do these locker rooms incorporate uni-sex bathrooms so that female reporters must get naked to do interviews? The only reason I ask is because feminists might be offended.

Cabinets have doors now. Is that the equivalent of going back to school and finding out the bathroom stalls had doors put in?
Looks very classy. Les must have made out like a bandit the last few years with his investments (and I don't mean those connected to the Rocks, but rather his Wall Street investments). He obviously made a decision to spend what it takes to make the facilities we have available for the players absolutely first class. With the addition of Harden, Howard, and Lin, he has two superstars, and a talented young point with some upside and a lot of notoriety. Another "name," in other words, in Jeremy, who adds to the publicity the Rockets are getting. Alexander, along with Morey's brilliant and devious mind, have made Houston a destination for stars wanting to be on a contending team, which the signing of Dwight made absolutely clear. It's a new world for the Rockets, folks. Relish that fact. Relish having a contending team again, after a very long drought. Relish it while it lasts (and don't put it on your hot dog!). The new digs for the players are one more reflection of the dramatic change in our status in the league. We are one of the top teams, we are beginning to be treated as such in the media, and we are loaded with young talent. Sure, it's a cliché to say this, but we've have arrived... at last. (I hope the new locker room backs me up when it's finished!)
Actually it looks like the Rockets are copying the Heats design so I'm guessing the will look very similar. No need to get yourself worked up about it.
Royce taught them a lot about the need to accommodate people with different needs. So they've put in the ladders for Brooks and Canaan.
Yep you are right, that 6 extra inches of locker width is gonna be what separates contenders from pretenders.
Who said anything about contenders/pretenders? Why build a "2nd best" locker room though? Go big or go home
Why not wait till it's finished before you criticize. You absolutely can not tell from those pics if the Heats stalls are bigger. Sheesh
