I'm sorry. I went a little overboard yesterday.

I was gonna say, where the hell are the cops? But they did show up.

I guess the dude really lost it when the shop owner said he was calling the cops? "Well, if that's the case, I might as well just do this and this and this..."

Dude must have been on some serious stuff.

Sad. He became really quiet and pliant once the policeman showed up. No more swearing or acting like a hoodlum. What's scary he is that he had nothing to lose. The thought of jail didn't scare him.

Dude was nice at the end, told the cops the guy with the camera wasn't a part of it, lol.

I think the quality of the video nicely matches the content. I made it through about 40 seconds. :(

Is it a pharmacy? I saw some dude losing it with the local pharmacist the other day, but nothing like this of course.

    What an interesting chess match.

The video apparently started just after he destroyed/disarrayed something small, for which the shopkeeper kept him locked him inside until the items were paid for or situation rectified, but before he called the cops. The perpetrator must have declined whatever was asked of him, & just insisted he be allowed to leave unconditionally. When his bluff was called, he got progressively more destructive in response, hoping at some point he would force his release before he destroyed the entire store (& the cops arrived). Unfortunately for him, the shopkeeper was more principled than pragmatic.

Logically I disagree with keeping him locked in there, especially if I was going to have to clean up the mess, but I can't claim I wouldn't have done the exact same thing in the heat of the moment. JUst hoping law enforcement got there sooner than later.

When pouring one out for your homie just isn't enough, pour out the whole damn store.

They might have been on equal ground legally once the storekeeper decided to lock the customer in, that seems like some kind of imprisonment; he should have had the sense to call the police himself at that point.

Yeah, that was odd. I have worked at 3 different convenience stores and I never would have locked someone in. If someone is acting up, you just want to get them out. Then notify the cops and call them if he/she ever shows up again. It's not ideal, but nothing about the C-store biz is.
