First overall pick in a ppr keeper league. My only option was to keep AJ Green. The best guys available fall like so: Alfred Morris Dez Bryant Steven Jackson Matt Forte Jimmy Graham In a regular league I would without a doubt scoop up Alfred Morris, in essentially what would be our 2nd round. But with this being ppr format I'm leaning towards Matt Forte with his new offensive pass heavy attack, I'm more than positive he'll have around 75+ pass catches this season. Jimmy Graham has gone thru my mind but I'd probably only do that if I had one of the top RBs this year. So with this pick who should I nab?
12 team league, non-ppr, taking RB in the early 1st round. Say Graham is not there in the back end of the 2nd. Would yall go CJ, MJD, or B. Marshall in the 2nd? Then on the quick wrap around in the early 3rd.. D. Wilson, R. Bush, or D. Murray? Which 2nd/3rd round combo do you like best?
Is this is one player keeper league? Since this is PPR, I wouldn't worry about having a top RB. So I'd rank this list just for this year, not for keeps: Graham Dez S. Jackson Morris Forte
I have no clue about running backs any more. That is how crazy the running back situation is these days.
CJ then Reggie. I'm going RB heavy throughout my drafts because of how rich the WR group is this year. There are lots of great late targets for the WR position that could produce near Marshall level. CJ is going to have a bounce back season and Reggie is going to be fantastic behind that O-Line in a pass heavy offense.
Yeah I rarely ask for help in our leagues on the BBS but I'm really besides myself on who to go with. Did not know there was no TE requirement, that changes the dynamics a ton. Thanks Zig.
Does anyone here do auction drafts? What is your strategy? Would you spend a lot for 2 stud rbs like foster and lynch with 2nd/3 tier WRs and qb or try to get a more balanced team.
You have to get studs on your team, but don't waste ALL your money on them. This year for example, try to get 2 of the top 8ish RBs if you can and then grab a decent #1 WR like a Cobb or someone. Then, save money on QB and balance the rest of your team. If you can, instead of going #1 WR, go Jimmy Graham.
The % of the offense that goes to Brandon Marshall is the determining factor in this decision for me. Cutler and him are constantly connecting, he's very consistent because of this. Dex should have a very good season but will he get enough TDs to be the top out of these three, I say no. AJ Green is a great option too, 3rd year receiver makes him even more attractive, improved defense in Cincy could help initially, but if they win more, they could run more at the end of games. Can't really go wrong with these 3, go with your gut.
Amendola? No way, he won't do it if healthy and staying healthy will be the hardest challenge for him this season.
