I don't think the Rockets should do it. Detroit's identity is wrapped up in its car manufacturers in a way that Houston can't match with anything. It just wouldn't work as well. If the Rockets were to do it, I could see them going with Space City, for the Rockets tie-in, but I don't think it's really very important to Houstonians anymore. Of all of them, I think Bayou City is actually best suited, but it probably doesn't resonate outside of Houston. That would have been cool too.
