Agree with everyone saying this cast blows chimps. Every single player is just doing what "the house" says to do. It's like the whole cast is on automatic pilot. And pretty boring to watch. Almost all the evictions have been unanimous, haven't they? Everyone is just going with the flow. Only reason I'm still watching is because of....well, OBVIOUSLY Jessie's ass. But beyond that, I want to see Amanda go down (not on McKray). Helen too. I can't remember a cast where literally no one is likable.
Can someone do an ass comparison of when she entered the Big Brother house and what it's currently at? I think she let herself go....but it's still nice to see I will have to agree with this. When Spencer and Jessie leave the house, I have no clue who to root for. They should just make America the winner because we had to watch this **** during the summer.
Yeah, I'm still waiting for someone worth watching (though I always watch the show, just wish this cast were more interesting). Thought it would be Amanda for a while, but she's too skittish when she's near the crosshairs (or when anything shakes her obviously carefully crafted confidence). Jessie's butt isn't enough to dilute that whiney voice of hers or her terrible play. Andy is just setting up his demise with the "Everyone's bff" play. GM is an idiot, so they will probably keep her around hoping to sit next to her at the end. I liked Judd alright, but he just didn't seem to be grasping where he was in the house, and made everyone nervous. Eryn (Aryan?) is full of herself, and while she likes to pretend she's just doing what everyone said to, that isn't entirely true. No way she wins it, so she may coast a while, but I'm guessing her luck of late has people think she competes harder than she does, and will mean her demise sooner than later. McCrae (I call him Gilligan) is sharper than he comes off, but early on he let the pressure get to him so bad he was chewing on blankets while people confronted him. I don't see him having the fortitude to do what it takes without Amanda, and she's got crosshairs on her, though how they have made it this far as a couple shows the foolishness of the rest of the cast. Still, if he keeps the pressure on her and off him for much longer, could coast AND get the votes. Andy is playing too likable to be taken to the end. No one wants to sit next to that, and now he won something. Spencer is getting by but that's about it. He is pretty likable except when he's tried making moves, but isn't winning anything. A bit of a wild card if he doesn't get on the losing end of the pawn moves soon. Helen is pretty good, except when she wins she jumps around like an idiot. She's also playing Amanda's game now, where she tries to get in every HOH's ear and manipulate. That will be her undoing. Bottom line, she's a little more full of herself than she should be, and her game play is giving her a target. She will not win a vote, if they allow her to make it that far. It's getting to the point where competitions matter more than relationships, and the chips are going to start falling quick. My money is on Spencer or McCrae, though I wouldn't be surprised if the usual crap floating to the top occurs... i.e. Jessie, Elyssa and/or GM as finalists. Bleh.
No it isn't. The reason you are still watching is because the show is addicting as ****. Even "bad" seasons where you hate every remaining houseguest are impossible to quit watching. I've been dealing with this problem since Season 2.
Helen is just pouncing on their insecurities. I can't believe they buy her ****. "you are janelle" "you just made the biggest move of the game" It's made it hard to root for her, at least for me, but she is playing well for the most part. I kind of want her to win HOH next, so she can put up M and A. Maybe we'll get some good TV out of it.
Another episode that went down with absolutely no alarms and no surprises. The gay guy had a chance to make a big move being HOH and POV. But surprise surprise....he did exactly what the rest of the house wanted. I think this is the 3rd week in a row where the HOH just did exactly what everyone else wanted. How about Amanda expecting Spencer to throw the POV even though he's on the block. Why would he do that?? And they were so surprised and pissed that he didn't. WTF? He's on the block every week and they want him to throw the POV? God forbid he plays the game for himself. No one else in the house does. So I guess Jessi is going home. Hopefully we'll get lot of shots of her in a bikini at the jury house.
On one hand, it was nice to see anybody finally implement some strategy (with the fake alliance with Helen), but on the other hand - why not just backdoor her this week?? Makes no sense. And I kind of feel bad for Spencer. He isn't trying to float, it's just that he can't crack into anybody's inner circle. Also, why didn't he just tell them he wasn't willing to throw a veto comp while he was on the block?
Every week basically the house is one giant alliance minus the next person chosen for eviction. That's it. Hilarious when Helen pontificated this might be the best season ever. I'd rather see her win over Demanda, but considering how unbelievably wrong she's been about certain things (with the utmost confidence) I won't be sorry to see her go either. At least this week is shaping up to be the head on collision between the two we've been waiting for. And it looks like Amanda has upper hand right now.
Yeah, at this point I, even though he appears to be a lame duck, I'm hoping Spencer wins it just because of that. Lame cast is lame.
Good point. The editing made is seem like that was a definite possibility, but they always do that to keep viewers when the outcome is so predictable. They will probably do it again tonight (making it appear that Spencer is going home) before Jessi gets booted out - via unanimous vote, of course. Yeah, that might actually be interesting. Up until last night, I thought Helen was playing the best game by taking advantage of incredibly weak players. But with this fake alliance, she's totally getting played. I thought she might have been too smart to fall for it when they approached her about it.......but apparently not. LOL. Amanda, as obnoxious as she is, hasn't won anything ever. Yet she's basically controlling the whole house.
I have no clue how people expect to win against a duo in a relationship. They cast way too many floaters. Plus, Amanda has that personality that makes a lot of people just want to stay quiet and be invisible out of fear that she may verbally attack them. Not a good combination. Looks like the MVP thing ruined the season, rather than making it more interesting. Not sure what Spencer was thinking calling Andy out. I could see Spencer getting the boot. He should, Jessie isn't a threat at all.
That was obviously a joke that I guarantee they all knew was coming. Of course, editing made it seem like it was serious.
Neither were Howard, Candice or Judd. The house just seems to arbitrarily pick someone out, decide they're a HUGE threat, and then unanimously vote them out. They're like a school of fish just randomly turning left or right for no apparent reason.
True, but i think Jessie is not a threat in any way, shape, or form. Can't win competitions and doesn't really have the killer instinct to make big decisions. She's played the game by being a complete non-factor. She always looks like she just woke up. Candice caused waves and at least had the mindset to make big moves, but couldn't win anything. Judd, IMO, was just playing stupid and was smarter than he appeared. Being from a small town in the country just fed (started?) the stereotype. Although he wasn't a threat the time, like they thought, i think he was getting ready to make decisive moves and stab some people in the back. Howard is probably more like Jessie, but i think he would have been more willing to make moves because he would listen to and try to protect Candice.
I was fine with it, but I hate when they haphazardly change the rules all the time mid season and call it a twist. Seems they leave it open so when the cast doesn't play like they wanted them to, they can shake it up however they want. Survivor is bad that way regarding merging too. Looks needlessly desperate, but maybe it's more of a chore, to make this car wreck as interesting as it is, than I realize.
I thought Survivor was filmed months in advance of airing. BB is real-time allowing producers to manipulate the game with twists, America's choice, etc.
