hey, let's not forgetthat the rest of the team will also improve and develop a low post game .. specifically... JAMES HARDEN remember last year, McHale was already teaching Harden some post moves.. Beard already has beastly footwork.he will evolve his game more now. he might even surpass KD. KD has 0 post game. kobe, Lebron developed post moves and you know the rest is history..
Plantar fasciitis is something that you have to manage even after it is cured from physical therapy. He wears orthotics and stretches to prevent it from coming back. If he didn't, everything could tighten back up again and cause pain in his feet. The fact that you know so little about it, shows to me that you really have no idea what you are talking about, and are just spewing "bro science" non-sense in this thread. By the way... he was sent specifically to a sports doctor. He never mentioned anything about "untapped movement potential". Your posts in this thread talk about real issues that people have, but you draw from that some absurd conclusions. I mean, think about it just from a common sense perspective. Your argument is that because Dwight has strong shoulder muscles, that is the reason he doesn't move like Hakeem Olajuwon. If he just quits working out his shoulders so much, viola, his post game will finally be amazing. I mean, the whole concept is just beyond ridiculous.
He looks like he can still play because he can. Hakeem is amazing. I picked Miyagi cuz he could still fight when he needed to, just like Olajuwon can still play, as well as teach. Noone will give Dwight the opportunity to improve more than having Hakeem teach him on a day-to-day basis. I cant wait to see the results...

You just wrote PF has to be managed after it is cured, but I am the one who knows very little about it? Unless your brother has always had it, then something triggered it. So, common sense would tell you there is a real cure (unless there is structural damage). If he has to keep managing it, it's because they didn't resolve the trigger. They just smoothed things out enough to relieve pain. It's like clotting up a wound, time after time, when it really needs stitches to close. You're just stopping the bleeding temporarily. Bro science? So Darryl Eto, the strength coach of the Rockets, he's spewing bro science, too? You should let the Rockets know. Because all doctors are incredibly diligent? Because they all keep up with new developments in their field? Because they all genuinely care about doing what is best for your brother's career and not just moving on to the next patient? I've dealt with doctors for ankle issues for many years. I can tell you it's the luck of the draw a lot of the time. A lot of them dont know about myofascial release and everything that comes with it. If they see a pronated ankle, they throw orthotics at it and hope for the best. They don't look at what is causing it or consider a problem elsewhere in the body. It's well documented online. Just look at Grant Hill's story. Surgery after surgery, over so many years, and by well-known doctors. Finally, a training staff in Phoenix fixed him up. Every profession has their mix of employees. Some are great, some suck, some do just enough to get by. Or, sometimes, good employees do poor jobs because of lousy procedures implemented at the work place. That's life. Are you even reading my posts? Reading comprehension, bro. I'll repeat this for the final time: -His shoulders are protracted. You can see it and that's why he was given that compression posture shirt by the training staff. Protracted shoulders are caused by an imbalance in musculature. So, that's a fact. - Strong muscles aren't bad thing, unless they create an imbalance. That's a fact. - Muscle imbalances create movement dysfunctions, which can all have varying degrees of severity, but they all will affect movement. That, again, is a fact. What I'm saying, and have said, like three times already, Howard's movement should definitely benefit from fixing that imbalance. Will it turn his post game into Dream's, with beautiful dream shakes and stupefying fakes that leave defenders bamboozled? Highly unlikely. Will it improve it? Likely. Will it improve it enough for him to have a decent post game? Maybe. I would think we (the team) would want to squeeze out every bit of post potential our of him, as they can. I don't doubt they'll look into this going forward, but probably don't want to many too many changes, so soon, as was the case with Lin, who was already dealing with rehab last year.
