This Lakers' season is going to be sweet, sweet honey for us to watch. I for one cannot wait.

Pringles, gimpy Nash, gimpy Kerby, plus the disinterested, pimp-slapped and depressed Pau. And then a late-career caveman running around missing layups.

D' antoni is really one of the worst coaches there is. I'm loving that he is with the lakers.

If only Pau would leave the lakers I couldn't be happier.

Pau's tenure the last 2 years in LA has been a basketball travesty. I absolutely hate how his talent has been wasted through the last few prime years of his career.

I'd love to see a team like the Bulls(in the East) make a trade for Pau this season. He's one of the most underrated big men of all time, and I'd like to see him not go out as the perennial LA whipping boy.

Well if he doesn't work out they still have Ryan Kelly who actually IS a stretch four...

A Noah and Gasol front court would demolish the East.

Jesus there is still 16 seconds on the shot clock, Bynum should never be above the free throw line, what the hell was he thinking?

Jordan Hill, the only player that is more inconsistent and mentally weak than his former teammate, Chase Bundinger.

I think OP meant to say "Kobe Bryant is about to seriously regret Daryl Morey not trying Jordan Hill as a stretch 4."

JH defines slow developing bigs. He's OK in a well defined b/u role.

Too bad their desire for cap space after this season will keep something like that from happening.

D'antoni and Hill are about to show the world they're still on the same level they were on with the Knicks.

Pau's contract is expiring this year. The Bulls will have about 62 million in salary committed anyways in 2014/15 (barring other trades). They aren't going to have cap space regardless. A Luol Deng trade going to the Lakers can help the Lakers while not hurting their cap space either in 2014.

The Bulls will want a player who they want to resign with their bird rights, and players they can shoot for with their exceptions. Since Luol Deng is likely seeking a large contract (and has been rumored in trades for some time) Pau seems like a better fit for the Bulls to acquire, and re-sign either by using his bird rights, or renouncing and using their exception later on.

With the rise of Jimmy Butler who can be their long term SF, I think trading Pau for Luol Deng & sweeteners(pick/s) helps LA save money this year, doesn't weaken them, and gives them a player they can resign if they strike out in free agency with Lebron or Melo in Deng.

OP need to change his title....Grammar is all wrong

    1. Daryl Morey will regret not trying Hill as a stretch four
    2. Morey about to regret not playing Hill at the PF

    Lets try again

So he believe in Hill now...he traded Hill to us in 2010 in Martin trade!!!

It takes today's Lakers to turn a sure fire HOFer into a marginal one just by moving him out of his natural position in the low block. Honestly it would be like Houston denying driving lanes to Harden by playing Asik and Howard full time together. Best personnel fit for Pau? The Heat.

Lotto Lakes = Wiggins. It just smells like a Sterno going away gift.
