How do you know for sure who fired the shots? I don't.

That is a tragedy, but can you keep on point and address the military massacring civilians, which may lead to further tragedies? Thanks.

I believe I condemned Morsi before, several times in fact.

You worming around is consistent with someone who has to defend his biases. Really, it's getting ridiculous. If you wish to discuss these matters again, I don't know why you can't stray to the 80+ threads you start about political Islam.

Please quote your outraged post about when Morsi appointed a murderer and terrorist as governor, since you are now complaining about the military appointing generals.

    This is absolutely on topic.

    Thanks in advance.

If you follow twitter, there is a ton of support from Muslims against the attacks on churches.

    There's a lot it here.

The MB is calling for everyone to take streets, and state TV is denouncing the MB as "terrorists" and urging people to stay home. Journalists are constantly being asked to verify casualties (everyone has vastly different numbers) and the morgues are supposedly overflowing. This isn't going to end soon or well.

So you are trying to limit the discussion to pointing out alleged atrocities on one side, and one side only. How very convenient.

Please provide proof that these people were killed unarmed, and that no shots were fired by the Islamists. Who fired first? Please provide proof. Thanks.

seriously, man, go play somewhere else. Or find my posts for me, you probably have a backlog in your 300+ threads.

I condemned both sides, and I continue to look at both sides in the ongoing conflict. But I didn't start this thread so you could bring up stuff that's been discussed ages ago, or things you missed in your daily rant about Islam. The girl's murder is a tragedy. I don't see at all how it is relevant to current events, unless you want to hypothesize that the murder of civilians is justified, because all of them are guilty of her murder, and there is no rule of law.

You continue to really waffle on this ATW. A simple "the military is doing terrible things" would suffice. Your constant derail attempts are just making you look very very uncomfortable.

I do think you're going to unleash the fury of idiots out there, and I blame them is well, but this is why sticking to a democratic process is better rather than massacring civilians! Now, who knows what will happen in Egypt.

Another futile attempt at painting the attacks on Copts by Islamists as a mere reaction to the military/to US actions. As I said, Northside Loon is the Mathloon of Canada. We all know that the attacks on Copts by Islamists have been ongoing for a long time already, and that the situation of the Copts worsened dramatically already when the Islamists came to power.

After constantly getting owned, you wish that you could just spew your propaganda without the record being set straight.

Obviously, you cannot provide your outraged post about when Morsi appointed a murderer and terrorist as governor - because there is none. It was fine and dandy with you.

ATW doing work this morning on Northside.

I suspect Northside has some deep seated frustration with the US -- possibly because he wants to work in the US but cannot find sponsorship? Not sure but there's some lingering issues there. ATW has called him out appropriately in this thread.

I blame the escalation on attacks on this latest incident. Who wouldn't? The original attacks on minorities I have condemned, and I do condemn now. I don't understand why the hell they are relevant to this thread, unless, again, you want to justify the murder of civilians because all of them are guilty of this action.

Listen, ATW, if you're comfortable going along with this, fine.

But you have NO credibility at all. It should be blatantly clear to all (if it wasn't already) that your bias is so warped, you cannot even find it in yourself to condemn the murder of civilians. You add "alleged" and look for reasons to lessen the impact, while you start threads on one-sentence reporting. If you applied the same standards you are using now to squirm at human rights violations to your own threads, well, I suppose we'd see a lot of less of your threads. Which I'm not averse to. ;)

America has nothing to do with this, as I've said. But America can do something about it.

    :confused::confused::confused:

what is up with you people diverting away from the topic anyways. If you squirm at the thought of military figures killing civilians, fine, and if you want to whitewash that away, fine, but I don't understand what I have to do with the thread topic. If you want to discuss me, start your own thread.

How are you still harping on about this, when your current condemnation of a military killing civilians amounts to trying to get OP to derail this thread through personal references?

Where is your proof that the military was not defending itself? You are trying hard to make it seem like they were murdering unarmed civilians. Did the Islamists not use violence? I am not condoning excessive violence by the military in any way, and there certainly seem to be indications from the news reports that sadly, this is happening, but I object to your attempts to make it seem like the other side are just harmless, peaceful victims. We can already see that they are violent themselves.

The military brought bulldozers to tear down the camps, and joined police units in shooting at civilians, I rather give the benefit of the doubt to civilians vs. trained security forces, which should have recourse to plenty of options beyond shooting a mass amount of civilians (including with snipers, what the f**k).

With that said, I am sure some civilians may have been inciting some violence, and I condemn that when it happens, but I do not see how you can't say that the military is making things so much worse, regardless. It is unnecessary, to say the least! If you want to justify the military's incursion, so be it. The victims may not be perfectly innocent, but they don't deserve death like this!

"Trying hard"---who is trying hard at what? When news came of civilians fighting back with intolerable violence on their end, I condemned it as well, though Deji has sources closer to the ground. All I see is you trying hard to avoid directly saying that what the military is doing is terrible. Even now---"I am not condoning excessive violence by the military"---strong condemnation.
