Lin doesnt have the jumping abillity that wall or irving does, but I truly think he's close to the same level of play with them.
I noticed that Jeremy curved his back like a black cat a lot especially when guarding one on one but I thought it was because he's bigger and had to lower himself to stare the other guy in the eyes lol... Didn't know that was a bad thing... Silly me
Kage Bunshin No Jitsu Jeremy Lin. Jeremy Lin is training as a ninja in Japan to increase his foot speed and deception. It makes sense now why Lin left training camp early to go to a zen garden, he was honing his chakra after all the training to become a sage.

The article was a really good one. Perhaps the improvement in his posture may lead to a better release/even alignment as he gets vertical on his jumper.
I've seen some of the posts that are supposedly "racist" and honestly, they might be insensitive, but racist is a huge leap. If someone posts a picture with Lin with a bunch of Asian fans behind him - that's not racist. It might be presumptuous - it is a generalization for sure to stereotype Lin fans as being Asian, but you know what, it's not racist. It's an internet forum, you have to have some thicker skin. And on this forum, it's a much worse crime to be annoying than it is to be insensitive - and that applies to everyone.
I absolutely agree that people have been called racist by Lin trolls when it doesn't apply. Doing that stifles meaningful conversation, and raises the bar for a reasonable person to call something racist even when it actually is. Nubmonger had a post that argues pretty convincingly that that image is racist. The key part: It's racist in all the best ways, in the sense that it flips the script and portrays the minority as being racially motivated and explicitly calling them out as a separate group, while preserving the [integrity] of everyone else who wasn't included in the image (because everyone else [roots] for who they thought was best, not who they thought looked the most like them). In other words, it preserves the "us vs. them" dynamic while labeling "them" as being the racists, not "us". Calling something racist gets more complicated when free speech and humor are involved, but in the case of that image, it is not unreasonable to call it out.
I think many of the posts I read here from Jeremy's so-called fans, who are so busy "defending" him from alleged insults, would embarrass him. Why? Because so often members have "thrown a fit" over a comment made about some aspect of Jeremy's play on the court by another member, when all the other fellow happened to be doing was talking basketball. That's all. Just talking basketball. No hidden agenda, no "racism" involved, just talking basketball. Yeah, it gets frustrating.
Clutch you are most definitely right about that. Dont understand why some much negativity on pretty much every thread is made. SMH!!!!
That probably is the correct reason, just the wrong way to go about it. You want to "sit" more to get lower, rather than just flex the spine forward.
I am not sure which post but I would be very surprised if a racist post was actually not taken care of by the mods. Shocked in fact. They are really good about being fair about that stuff.
From what I saw last season, I hope Lin adds a floater to his repertoire. No reason to get banged up or get his shot blocked deeper in the paint when he can get off a high percentage shot with his momentum going to the basket.
