I just watched the game on Youtube (title: Pre-Eurobasket 2013 Friendly: Lithuania - Sweden), and as good as his statline was, his actual play was even more impressive. His rebounds were aggressive rebounds, in traffic. It would appears that little by little he learning how to use this newfound size and strength. What's interesting is that he hasn't lost his speed. All in all DMo looked great in this game, with a nice combination of speed, agility, strength, and a nice touch on his shot. Granted the Swedish players were rather small; but all in all he looked and played like an NBA player.

Thanks for the link. All my streams earlier were in frustrating resolution and even stopped working all together after 5 minutes or so into the game. Thanks again.

DMo doesn't come into the game until about the 29:00 mark of the video (8:00 second quarter), and he scores right away. Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50dB-T71K60

You are right, D-Mo does look really impressive in those short minutes.

His defensive rotations were terrific, and positioned himself well for rebounds. He did not look outsized one bit.

second game was played in really old court which have crap conditioning, so court was really slippery.

Catch me if you can Dwight Howard!

I really like that he's aggressive and hustles, but IMO he needs to stay away from taking perimeter shots until he refines it. He only shot 29% from 3 last year, which is abysmal. Yes he makes it once in a while and it's nice to have a stretch 4 but that does you no good if he can't even shoot it in the low 30's

and another thing... in that clip vs Belgium he was throwing way too many careless passes in transition... that would not earn him minutes with McHale

This! Arena was build in 2008-2011 and opened 2011 August for EC in Lithuania. It's way too old

It was just some problems with court technically

After watching more of these games, I can't help but think playing for Lithuania might be bad for DMo. His main problem on defense is that he tries to help too much and he ends up out of position, the reason for this is that stupid zone BS that he plays in Lithuania. I'd much rather him spend some more time with the Rockets and get out of that bad habit than have that bad habit reinforced by playing for a team where that stupid style of play is what he is supposed to do.

Nah, let him play, have some fun, get in shape, and come back, plenty of time to teach with the Rockets.

Game day - 11:15AM Houston. Lithuania against Sweden once again. Player wont play - Kleiza (SF/PF), Javtokas (C) and Seibutis (SG). DMo should get 20+ minutes this time, I guess.
