Not to make money or for a personal business.

But I recently played "Lennie" in Of Mice and Men...and I thought about advertising it here..and maybe even offering a bottle of beer if any of ya'll came out.

But I am not sure it would have worked?

    Thoughts?

Nice! I meant to go. :( SRSLY. I wanted to take the family, but we were busy all weekend and last week.

    Did you break a leg?

If I recall, Lennie was an idiot in the book. An gentle idiot though. Not implying that you are of the same mental faculties as Lennie though.

Yeah Lennie was disabled and awfully, sadly strong.

This board is a place where people help each other out, and thats what makes it more than a usual sports forum.

I remember posting about a video-contest I entered last year. I won it. And this board played a huge part in that win, no doubt.

While we're at it can we discard the phrase itself? The implied irony has morphed into obnoxiousness.

Have to say, I'm against shameless self promotion on the board.

That is also the stance I take at my web site, http://www.LeagueFreak.com your number one source for Rugby League information and opinions.
