Thanks for posting. It was interesting reading how much a NBA point guard have to analyze once that pick comes. Everything looks so much easier on TV.
Hey if you could put a couple million in the bank just by going to a place I'm pretty sure you would too.
Clutch, its like when you go to the mall and go to the back section of Spencers gifts... lots of bad posters
It's better to leave it alone to begin with. Trolling is trolling, regardless of what side it comes from.
Pretty obvious from this interview that he still has no idea or any assurance regarding which team he'll be playing for come october. either he doesn't trust morey's claim that's they're not looking to trade him or that harden and howard want him on the team, or he never received any assurance from morey at all. everyone else (minus asik) know how they fit on the team and what they need to work on. jeremy can't even bring himself to think about what it'd be like to play with howard and harden, two guys that 100% will be on the team come october. but i think he's handling it the best he could; work on all aspects of his game and make sure that regardless of the role he's put in come october, he will shoot better, has a stronger left hand, and be a better defense player - things that could translate to any other team or role.
This is definitely not true. There is no way everyone else knows how they'll fit in before training camp has even started. Some won't even know until well into the season. This is going to play out on the court, not in their mind or the coach's. They should know what indvidual skills they need to improve on, but so does Lin.
Apparently so. We've seen the reaction from this type of poster when someone on the board says something like 'Jeremy had no impact in the playoffs' or 'Jeremy's summer success doesn't mean much because there's no structure in those games.' The game becomes "attack the messenger" and the name-calling from some ranges from "hater" to "racist." But you don't hear much when it's actually Jeremy Lin saying those things. (Could you imagine the assumptions that would be made by these fans if someone here said, 'Derek Fisher looks athletic out there but Lin looks like the Hunchback of Notre Dame?') Maybe it's time the raskols of the board came to the realization that they are actually the problem.
But he also avoided the question about "transitioning from the ball dominating point guard to a more traditional one". Makes me feel that he isn't sold on being on the team for long.
