During the first half of season 5 when Walt moves back in you can see the book on the nightstand. As to why he was looking for it I don't know but maybe he wanted something to read to help ease his mind with the cancer back and all. Or he probably realized that he hasn't seen it in a while and started getting paranoid because of the note inside.

My guess as to why hank put the tracker on his car is to catch any suspicious driving patterns that will link him to being Heisenberg.

Great start to the final episodes, I just can't wait to see how it all plays out. Not playing the theory game, just going to sit back and enjoy the ride....

Leaves of Grass is part of Walt's toilet reading. He was cancer puking, facing his toilet reading material and noticed the stack was super short because the bulk of it (the book) was missing.

I was looking at pictures (Pic 4 of 416) under Breaking Bad in IMDB and spotted a picture of Brian holding a fake head of his bald Walt character while Aaron looks on. I don't recall a scene where they needed a fake Walt head in the series so far. Any one recall the use of it?

Walt was already questioning why Hank was so quick to leave the party and doing so in such a strange manner. You may think the sudden 'stomach bug' would cause anyone to glaze over the fact that Hank saw something he shouldn't have but when you're in as deep as Walt, you can't help but over think and have some sense of paranoia when considering "What if's.." In this case, Walt was right and his suspicions were further confirmed when noticing the book was missing. The book is the only thing in the house that could possibly tie Walt and Gale together.

Which is why he dipped out later that night to find the GPS tracker. Something that set Walt's suspicions in concrete that Hank knew and was/is trying to find out more. Keep in mind that Walt did drive to Jesse's and Saul's office since Hank has found out.

In the cold opener, Carol dropped some food, including oranges, when she saw Walt.

Breaking Bad tips its cap to Godfather and lifts some themes from it. Oranges were used to symbolism death in the Godfather movies. It usually meant there was a death coming.

In the Sopranos Tony, who never eats fruit, was eating an orange at the beginning of the final episode. He also was buying orange juice in season 1 when the first attempt on his life went down.

We obviously know Walt is out for blood but I think the oranges that Carol drops are yet another sign.

Hank has no evidence or a case. What was Jessie saying in the preview? Is he turning against Walt ? How would he ever find out about mike or Brock?

Would be funny if the show goes all the way to court with Walt and Jesse as the two defendants. Then, they ask Hank how he figured out it was Walt who was Heisenberg and began connecting all the dots whereas they couldn't before? Hank testifies that he read it in the book while taking a dump and then (stole) took the book. Then, the whole case is dismissed because he took the book without a warrant and, as a result, any evidence obtained via the book is inadmissible. That's how the show should end right there. ;)

I thought last night's episode was amazing. I was shocked to see Walt confront Hank in this episode so soon, but I told my wife while watching that Walt was going to do that. He really didn't have a choice other than to do that. He had already went to Jesse's and Saul's place already. Walt's hand was already forced at this point.

Here are a couple of things that stood out to me during last night's show:

    1. Jesse, in my opinion, is going to be the X-factor on what happens to Walt if you ask me. Hank really don't have enough evidence to put Walt away. Hank can have someone investigate how Walt got the money but Hank also benefitted from that money. Who is to say that Walt tries to use that angle against him. Jesse is the only person that can spill the beans. Walt may have to use ricin on him.

    2. I think Lydia's part last night basically cemented the idea that those guys in Europe are going to come after Walt. We saw how his house was destroyed. I think her comment about "you're putting me in a box" leaves me no doubt that this isn't over from that perspective. When she stated 68%, I was wondering if she was referring to the other guys who Walt worked out a deal with or what the meth they get out there in Europe. I can't recall.

    3. With Walt's cancer back, I just wonder if they plan on letting him die. I don't see him bouncing back after this one. I know we saw him with hair in the beginning of last night's episode but that tells me he isn't on chemo anymore.

Overall this is going to be awesome.

The thought of Walt using the ricin on Jessee just made me sad. :(
