    Pics are quite awesome.

As for the phone, it's basically the Lumia 920 with a better camera. Solid. From what I've read, a lot of owners don't mind or notice the camera hump on the back of the phone very much.

I'm with Harrisment, Windows OS is greatly improved. App ecosystem isn't quite to the level of Android or iOS, but the OS is solid as are the phones for it IMO.

As someone that has a HP TouchPad with webOS, I can appreciate concerns about the absence of apps. WebOS was a great OS (perhaps the best at multi-tasking with the Glimpse app), but the app selection was in the hundreds and when HP pulled the plus the deathknell had sounded. Now dualbooting Jelly Bean and webOS, the tablet has its second life (despite being thick, heavy, and filled with idiosyncrasies, but for a couchputer it does its job.

Not saying Msft's catalog is as thin as the webOS catalog, or that Msft will pull the plug. But at this late stage of the game, while Apple and Google have become so well-entrenched, I wouldn't buy into a two year contract with someone else, especially in the absence of a really compelling capability that is unavailable from Apple or Google.

Nokia has excellent image sensors in their phones, and I'm not debating the image quality at all, but 41 megapixels is absolutely ridiculous and just screams "marketing gimmick" to me. Consumers love hearing arbitrary numbers. When would anyone need resolution that high? Considering that many DSLRs only have 18 megapixels max, what would the extra 23 megapixels do for an image other than require more compression? In theory, wouldn't they have been better off using a sensor of similar physical size, but with only 13 or 18 megapixels?

Oh, I definitely agree that 41 MP is probably over the top, definitely a marketing gimmick. I just think that even with that, it's still the best camera on a smartphone out there. That's all I was really trying to say, but I definitely get what you're saying.

everyone is missing the main point of 41 megapixels. it's to crop the giant picture and still retain quality to a certain extent. cropping = digital zoom.

Snaps. Nokia should buy Blackberry now that it might be up for sale.

Would definitely look into a Nokia phone running BB/Android. No more of this Windows Mobile crap.

Windows Mobile hasn't existed for 4 years, so I agree that we don't want anymore of that "Windows Mobile crap." To try and suggest that Blackberry's OS is anywhere close to WP8 is laughable.

    WP8 user chiming in.

It's a refreshing OS, and honestly it does everything I need it to.

Oh, and this Nokia I'm using... best ****ing call quality ever.
