Is there a team in the league with as many 3 point threats as Houston?

Can hit the 3 at a good percentage:

    Beverley
    Brooks
    Canaan
    Lin
    Harden
    Garcia
    Casspi
    Parsons
    Williams

Can shoot the 3, although streaky:

    Motiejunas
    Jones

    Will not shoot 3's:

    Asik
    Howard
    Smith
    Camby

Basically, other than the center position, everybody on the team is a threat from deep.

Are there any other teams with as many 3 point shooters?

What is your definition of a good percentage?

Funnily enough, GSW are up there with us (the guys we almost broke the 3pt record on)
They are no.1 for 3pt percentage
Also Miami still have a ton of shooters, even with Miller leaving

I think we are up there, probably no.1 but not by much.. A better question would be who has the top 5 3pt shooters on their team (or 4 considering Dwight is integral to getting open looks)

GSW has some better shooters than anybody on the Rockets...

but I don't think they have MORE who can hit around 35%.

    They have:

    Barnes
    Thompson
    Curry
    Douglas
    Iguodala (he's only a 32% career 3pt shooter)

    That's it.

Caspi falls short by your definition. Canaan has never hit a NBA 3 point shot so he cannot be included on any list of NBA 3 point shooters.

Oh ****, Howard looked like he was "having fun" when he hit that three pointer.

We have the best Center and some of the best back ups so it is very likely that those guys will shoot a very nice percentage

    DMo can't shoot shi*.

Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but the dude had a few good games and people were sold on him. I'm not. Thankfully we don't have a GM that rewards players after a good game (Kelvin Cato, anyone?)

We really need a decent PF before the season starts. I don't know how Morey plans to go into the season in McHales incredibly LIMITED offense without a PF that can pick and pop.

PatPat was valuable for us because he was the only big that was able to do it. Putting Greg Smith next to Dwight is a terrible move on offense.

We have some great perimeter shooters, but we are deficient as all hell in the Pf position.

I think you are wrong about about the pf position. Guys were rookies that had other 1st round picks playing in front of them that needed playing time to get traded. You will be surprised at how good those 2 guys play.

Any NBA player is capable of 'shooting' a 3 pointer. Dikembe Mutombo could shoot 3 pointers. Heck, I could shoot 3 pointers.

I said 3 point threats. Meaning, guys who can actually hit the shot at a decent percentage.

I said that percentage is about mid 30's.

Dikembe can jack 3's... but he's not a threat because he won't hit anywhere close to 35%.
