One thing that was a debate amongst people in this thread from last year: At the New York TimesTalk interview Bryan Cranston confirmed that Walt killed Mike because of his ego. He didn't go there with the intention of killing him, he just lost control because Mike was shytting on him.

    In that same interview:

I don't think I've ever anticipated a final season of a series as much as this.

    PSYCHED!

Mad Men isn't for everybody. It is essentially a period piece. Part of what makes it good is how they recreated the 1960s, both economically and socially. It could just be that, for the people that don't like Mad Men, such works just aren't their bag.

I've got 4 episodes left in my marathon run of Seasons 1 through 5.1. Unreal experience. Took my appreciation for the writing and character depth to uncharted levels.

    Can't. Freaking. Wait!

I still miss the Gus Fring character.

THE absolute best dark character ever. So non-threatening on the surface yet so ruthless and cunning underneath. All the other bad guys Walt was able to out think were understandable.

With Gus, you knew that Walt just got lucky.

    Looking forward to tonight!!!

Finally something to take the edge off waiting for the NBA season to start. I have no doubt this is going to be freaking epic.

Finally got my mom and my sister to start watching, I told them they would like it last year but they never got around.

So when season 4 marathon was on AMC they started getting into it and I've watched all the way upto the current stuff with them and they are interested and amazed with the acting.
Annoyed me that I had to explain all that happened in the first 3 seasons but they didn't want to rewatch what had already happened, and it seems like Gus was everyone's favorite character.

Oh believe me, it was urking me but I knew they wouldn't start from earlier because they were hooked with all the action and stuff going onin season 4. It took twice as long because I had to explain everything too.

Everytime Walt had one of his speeches everybody in the room was just amazed, especially this one

i never got why they didn't kill him when he was young? " I know who you are." who was he in chile? pinochet's son? :p
they could have had a spinoff season just on gustavo's history alone.
