Yes, because when you have the worst record in baseball and you have a guy who is on pace to hit 30 HR, and is 26 years old, you cut him because his batting average is poor and he stikes out a lot. That is just common sense.

Shoot just cut the whole dang team huh? Just cut em, pay off their small salaries and cut em. Singleton is struggling at AAA too, let's just cut him too huh? Screw it, cut em all

I'll just try to ignore the bullpen and focus on the positives.

LJ Hoes after a 1-12 start, is sporting a .364 avg over his last 7 games

Grossman despite an 0-5 tonight, has a gaudy .415/.467/707 line in the 11 games since his recall. He needs to sharpen that 2 strike approach, but he seems to be able to get on base at a high clip, even before his demotion he was getting on.

With Springer in center that would give us an extremely athletic OF. Hoes and Grossman are both high OBP guys and would make very nice table setters if they can stick.

Safe to say Carter is streaky

    1st 14 .867 OPS
    Next 36 .619 OPS
    Next 36 .959 OPS
    Last 18 .419 OPS

Interesting to see where this roller coaster stops

Great peek at Altuve at his fastest right there. Shallow fly ball with plenty of time for RF to get under it...really no reason there shouldn't be a close play at the plate there. And there wasn't.

No lead is ever...I mean ever...safe with this bunch. Worst bullpen I ever recall seeing.

First HR of the season? Sounds about right.

Any other retreads or failed first round pick bullpen pitchers that we can scrounge up here?

Lucas Harrell is probably the only person with less self confidence than me

It's also safe to assume that Carter will be an Astro until he is traded. The reason he gets so much time is because he is capable of punishing the ball, as he did once tonight. He is Adam Dunn/Rich Ankielish in his approach, but has started watching more pitches. He's only 26, so I'll go ahead and assume we will keep him until his value is such that someone else will give us prospects.

Lucas Harrell is doing an amazing job in helping us land Rodon. By placing him in the bullpen it allows the Astros to utilize him more than once per 5 days. Genius.

Just stfu and stop calling every Ranger a bandwagoner. I've had it with idiots like you who make it seem like before they started winning they had exactly 0 fans and now everyone is on board. It's like me calling you a bandwagoner once the Astros start winning. Quit being so ignorant and idiotic. Maybe if all the "real" and "loyal" Astros fans would show up to the games then maybe they would muffle out the Rangers fans. Your stupid franchise is the reason they're not showing the Rockets games in Houston. How the hell can you support any organization that's blocking any deal from being made with Comcast. Because of the Astros everyone in Houston suffers. They think people are going to show up to games just because they can't watch them on TV. How about they bite the bullet make a deal and build a contender.
