All these young RBs look great, as does Keenum.

Yea I have no horse in the race, but it's painfully clear how much more composure Keenum has. Sets the tone for entire offense. No surprise the TDs are flowing now instead of FGs.

Dude, Brees was a 2nd round pick who through more TDs than INTs in his second year (First year as a starter). He was incredibly talented from the start, just needed the experience. Case went undrafted and has never been mistaken for having the same talent set as Brees.

Having said that, Case is impressing me this game and I actually have more comfort with him as the backup compared to TJ.

I missed some of the game due to technical difficulties. How many passes has Keenum missed? He is 13 of 18 with at least 3 drops.

The RBs are a bright spot...not sure who I want to keep and who goes to the practice squad (which sucks if another team decides to take them).

3 or 4 drops. At least one by Jean and 2 by Maehl. I only recall one real misfire where he threw the ball too low. The might have been one other.

TJ looked pretty bad compared to Keenum.

The third rb spot is gonna be a tough decision. I have a feeling even the guy we put on the practice squad will get poached...On a clearer decision. Case is the clear #2 and if Schaub gets hurt he might get Kapernick-ed. Here's hoping LoL

I said this in the training camp thread. Keenan just looked overall better than Yates and that Keenum may jump Yates in the depth chart

Not like McGee has a chance to make this team. But as a 4th string QB, it must suck to finally get some playing time only to hand the ball off and never throw a pass.

    a couple of things,
-Heb is lacking in creativity. they're recycling old david carr commercials for watt!! disrespectful!

-Earl mitchell can penetrate and disrupt more than funny host man ever did. Cody was ok, but mitchell has potential for more.

    - Newton looked great coming off that injury from last season, provided nice protection on 2 blitzes sent by minny. Still remember when it was unethical to blitz in the preseason. basterds!

    -Nuke! just as advertised.

    - swearinger, welcome to the national football league.

-Case & yates- I like it! you can never have enough quarterbacks that know the system.

-channel 13- pathetic! the feed and myers never being able to get names right.

I think the Texans would be making a huge mistake to put Keenum back on the practice squad. Some other team will pick him up. I have been saying since last season, don't underestimate him. Big mistake. He is going to make it in this league. I actually wouldn't be surprised to see him start in the NFL. Why not for the Texans? He has the "it" factor; hard to define, but you can see it in him.

It was great seeing Case on the field. He looked as calm as he did back in his UH days. I hope he can pass TJ on the depth chart.

I think the Texans have to believe that if they put either Case or TJ on the practice squad, that another team will pick them up. They have to make the decision whether to carry 3 QBs or to stay with 2 and in all likelihood lose whoever doesn't make the roster to another team.
