Knowing how resistant to change Kubiak is though, Keenum could completely outplay TJ all preseason and still wind up #3 on the depth chart.
Is Keenum the next Drew Brees? I probably sound like a Houston homer but he really squares himself and puts the ball on the money. Obviously he is not Drew Brees and;it is only the first preseason game, but from what is being said out of camp and this game, he looks like a legit 2nd string QB.
They did... but there's is a lot more "advanced looking". They are close... almost like they had their IT guy try to copy as much of ESPN's graphics as possible.
Thanks to everyone who provided some feedback for the stream. I'll try to work on the problems earlier, but I'll be streaming again for the rest of the pre-season and hopefully I'll have it working without any problems by then.
All you can ask out of him right now is daily improvement in calling the plays, making the right reads, and delivering the throws on target. The "other" intangibles such as eluding pressure, and delivering passes under duress can only be tested in real game scenarios.
Case definitely needs to get some snaps with the twos next week. He looks so much more comfortable out there...quantum leap. Keenum showing mobility, but also calm and in control. At this rate...... Go Coogs!
I think I heard somewhere that the plan, even before this game, was for Case to be the #2 in the 2nd preseason game. Not sure if that's true, but I'd like to see that. We'll see.
Remember, Drew Brees wasn't Drew Brees and was on the fast track to nowhere until his 4th year, after the Chargers drafted Phillip Rivers.
