I didn't liked how bad he handled the ball in second match. He has some serious issues doing that (drive towards the paint from 3pt line with the ball). We have seen it couple of times in NBA.

Clutchfans where some people have no idea what they are talking about.

Horry averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds, to think that Dmo couldn't do that tells me that you don't have a clue. He may not get there but the chances are very good that he will.

Nobody said he would be better, the discussion was about points and rebounds.

how's DMo's defense?

 

There is a lot of room for improvement.

Again the discussion was about points and rebounds. I will never discount the things Horry could do on the court, his D on Barkley was one of the major reasons we got past Phoenix.

 

LOL even in this picture you can see how bad his hands are, look at how he's holding the ball, it's like it's just floating on his hand, he has no grip on it

 

In interview with Kazlauskas (national team coach): he's not happy how team passes the ball (especially when team has free players in the paint or height advantage). Also he's not happy with DMo, especially not controlling the space and making stupid turnovers/rushing too much.

 

Don't think Jeff Taylor will be playing in those two games against Lithuania and without him Sweden is probably even worse than Belgium, so... again, I'd be careful to take away too much (good or bad) from these next few games.

FWIW, Asik just finished his first(?) game with his NT. Lost 55-54 to Slovenia. Dragic hit the game winner.

Asik had 9 points (3/5 FG 3/5 FT) and 7 rebounds in less than 16 minutes.

yes, it was Omers first game, he not even started because he just arrived to the training camp a couple of days ago. I couldn't watch the game because of damn turkish televison but his numbers are solid beside his 4 TOs!
Btw Turkey got killed on the boards(29-40), looked like the Rockets the last season. 24 minutes without Omer is just too mutch
