I don't think the heat make it out of the east this coming season. I know some people aren't taking the nets seriously, but I think they ate going to be tough to beat..especially come play off time.

Putting Clippers and Rockets as bigger threats to the Heat than the Spurs is kinda dumb. It wasn't very long ago that the Spurs were literally 1 missed basket from beating the Heat for the championship. That's a pretty big threat, imo. Clippers and Rockets haven't demonstrated that the chemistry of their new teams is really going to work and take them to a contender status. And, if it does work, it only puts them on par with the Spurs on talent and still at a deficit in coaching, chemistry, and experience. The only knock that the Spurs have is age, a challenge they keep overcoming every year. It's dumb to count them out.

Agreed. I still feel so bad for the Spurs sometimes.

One missed rebound or one basket.

Nevertheless, to be considered Championship contenders at this stage, this early, is an honour. But a lot remains to be seen. Its all in paper at the moment, we have yet to see one game.

I wish our first game wasn't against the (lowly) Bobcats tbh.

thats so awesome that he signed the contract wearing the old school Rockets hat. I'm telling you guys, with as much as we wore our alternates and as much as harden wore red and yellow shoes even with our primary jerseys, and with parsons confirming he is working on us getting new jerseys next year. Expect a return to Clutch City next summer. It's happening.

Even if you hate the Spurs, you had to feel something watching Tim Duncan slam the floor during Game 7. It was a rare glimpse into what makes the heart of a true champion, the kind of drive that sustains a 16+ year, Hall-of-Fame career. You could tell how badly he wanted it and how much it killed him to miss those shots.

    Dynasty, sure, uh huh.

If not for one miracle shot by Ray Allen, all anybody would be talking about is 'Should Miami break up their Big Three?'

Spurs will be right there again too, and the Heat, well, it only gets tougher for them from here on out, and they barely barely won this time.

I would not be surprised if the Heat do not win another ring at all.

I wouldn't be surprised if their current core doesn't win another ring. But I also wouldn't be shocked if they won two or three more.
