Plenty of logical liberals who espouse the truth over ideology. Plenty. Rocketsjudoko and InvisbleFan being two of many. I don't see that from the conservative side. Even here, you are on the attack.

When is the last time a conservative poster in this forum has conceded a point? Or are you that arrogant as to think conservatives are ALWAYS right?

Considering where the Republican Party is now, Refman is a Democrat.

No offence meant, but maybe we should let Refman define himself.

Well, you "attacked" me. You said there are ~"no conservative posters on this forum who can participate in a logical debate."

When I ask what this means, I get told things like how can you be pro-Life (anti-Abortion) and pro-Death Penalty.... as if those are all that related.

But that brings up a good point. I've "changed" my stance on the Death Penalty but mostly due to the economics of it. It takes too long and it is too expensive to put someone to Death in this country. However, if three thugs kill a young woman for the cash in her purse, I have no problem with their dying at the hands of the state, but I'm willing to settle for Life without Parole.

Hardly anyone ever concedes a point because it will ever be capitalized upon by the "opposition." The Left is just as bad if not worse.

    Sweet Lou is a moderate.

He is of very moderate intelligence.
And that is still a flattering statement

Giddyup, you ... all of us ... must consider first and foremost that this is a sports based forum -- which means that winning is ingrained in the mentality of those who post here. Team Liberal and Team Conservative co-exist in this forum with the same ease of the Rockets and Lakers in the playoffs.

Remember, no point can be conceded. Each opinion is infallible. Reason and reasonability are phantoms here. The pursuit of actual intellectual discourse in this forum, while glorified on the surface, stimulates secret frowns. So, sit back and see the D&D for what it is -- an arena for blood sport.
