I just found this on Youtube. It's the first game between Lithuania and Belgium which D-mo was solid throughout.

    Lithuanian National Team w D-Mo
Monday, August 12, 2013 @19:15 Lithuanian vs. Swedish
Wednesday, August 14, 2013 @19:15 Lithuanian vs. Swedish

    Turkish National Team
Saturday 10 August @18:30 SLOVENIA vs. TURKEY
(a semi-final game for the Cup of Belgrade -- the prep tournament before the real 2013 Eurobasket tournament, I guess)

Not sure if the team is w or w/o Asik.

A Slovenian site says he will be this time.
But the team roster on the Turkish Basketball Federation official site doesn't have Asik on it. (http://www.tbf.org.tr/detay/2013/08/08/a-milliler-s%C4%B1rbistan-a-gitti)

Would be nice if we could see Asik in any games this or next month. We'll see.

He will need to play with Howard, while coming off the bench to succeed. McHale must not force him to camp out on the 3 point line. He can pass from top of the key, and be a secondary post up player with the ability to run the floor.

I am sure DMo would play very well under a competent coach. Sadly, McHale is not of them, expect him to keep shooting threes and have an invisible wall placed around the paint

I'm sure you know a lot more about power forward play than Kevin McHale.

I get that it's very hard to understand, or even find any difference between coaching and actually playing, that is the reason why every good NBA player is a great coach.

Well it's nice that you admit you don't understand and agree that McHale is a good coach.

This is what I have to say to people complaining about the coaches: A wood bucket can only hold as much water as the shortest plank allows. If you want to hold more water, work on the shortest plank (e.g. expand it).

Mindaugas Kuzminskas. I think he declared for a draft but wasn't drafted. He was very highly touted earlier in his career, but it stagnated for a while until last season, when he really performed. Don't think he will ever play in NBA, but he sure has a lot of potential playing in Europe

the guys dream is to play in NBA, so never say never, especially when Kuzminskas is young and has a lot of potential.

I bloody hope I am wrong, but he doesn't seem too suited for NBA. Good player nevertheless, and I'd LOVE to see him overseas, but the next Lithuanian to play in NBA will be Baby Sabas :)

Either the Turkish official website has been finally updated or I didn't pay close attention to the full roster in Turkish earlier.

Ömer Faruk Aşık is now on the roster in Turkish, which becomes Umar Farouk Lover in English when google-translated. lol

Finally we'll get to see him play this weekend.

For anyone interested - Omri Casspi scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in Israel's 67-64 loss against Italy.

The win has to come first, so you cant blame McHale for it, but it does stifle development.
