Well, you are certainly a well-spoken troll, which I suppose proves your point. You have convinced me. Lead on!!!
Yeah TJ was a lot more fun. I'm just taking random stabs in the dark. RM95 suggested he was Nomar from way back.
The other side is brain-washed. That's scary. That's so sad it's funny. You may have ignored or not realize this, but that type of statement has been said by both sides. How can both sides be so sure the other side is so brain-dead?
I saw that comment and wondered if he might be Nomar. Don't know! Do know he isn't Trader_J. I enjoy reading Trader's stuff (when he posts, which is rarely now) because he frequently makes me laugh (intentional or not!). Ronny is often interesting reading, at least to me, and sometimes has takes on subjects some might find controversial (which I sometimes enjoy), but doesn't have TJ's sense of humor. Maybe he should work on that. ;-)-
Problem is that there are no logical thinking conservatives who know how to debate in this forum. D&D would be much better if we had that voice. Conservatives but not radical ones - ones who can debate intelligently without taking everything out of context and just respewing what they get from right-wing crazy blogs.
Yes there are. Go read the first 100 pages of the Trayvon Martin thread; the folks posting the wacky accusations and swallowing innuendo are the ones saying there are no logical conservatives. Too rich. Y'all's standard for "illogical" is "disagreement."
D&D get's frustrating from time to time, but it has nothing on GARM. It's only natural. The debates carry on as most do in this type of forum. Debates will carry on as long as the topic is nationally relevant. The subjective is often made out to be factual. Good arguments are ignored, and weak arguments are cherry picked for response. Little is actually resolved. Ce la vie.
