Now reading this story of the innocent female being murdered, I have to ask, are some people born evil?
Lots of assumptions and hypocrisy in those last two sentences. Easy to put words in someone's mouth when you're demonizing them, yet Obama has a deeper, more tender message behind his ignorance... Black culture, the aspect of it that promotes aggression, violence and "don't give a ****" as a means of confidence, has a way of outcrying and playing the victim card time and time again. It's time to look at the reality of the situation and what makes stereotypes like this exist. If I wanted to break stereotypes and advocate equal rights, I would bring about a change in myself before asking for a change in others. Family values, community, music, education and rhetoric all play a part in moving towards the solution they seek, but don't want to put effort towards. Educated African Americans agree with me 100%, but to the rest, it's easier to scapegoat.
Yes...Some people ARE just born evil, but it's not limited to one race or group. Evil comes in many forms. http://www.wfaa.com/news/crime/Sagi...ct-transferred-to-Tarrant-jail-218748191.html
You learned this from me. Good -- you're becoming a more intelligent poster. Your points can be perceived as an unsympathetic stance, but it's true, and when accepted as truth, should actually HELP blacks improve their culture. But they'll hate you for telling them that.
Read almost every post, but have no idea what this three page thread is about. Best avoid these parts of the forum, I guess.
BS thread. But interestingly, I was actually in Gloucester County, NJ on business last October right after this happened. Flew into Philly, rented a car and crossed the Deleware over to NJ. That was the first time that I'd been so far awy from home on my own. I remember first seeing a story about this on thier local news. I met a lot of Patriots fans there and talked bigtime shiit about how the Texans were going to beat them easily when they met. Guess I was wrong. I communicate regularly with a few colleagues up there, good people.
True, but it's only race baiting when it suits you. There was no racial issue in the death of Travon Martin. You would never suggest any form of racism in the murders of those two little white girls or the bus beating of a 13-year-old white boy by three black thugs. Rightly so. However, you and your colleagues need to get off this one-way racism kick. George Zimmerman is Jewish and Hispanic (not Caucasian) -- just like Geraldo Rivera. Go tell Geraldo how racist he is while sobbing on Oprah's shoulder.
because I'm right (in more ways than one) I also receive a fair amount of rep from others who agree with me, but don't post that much. just goes to show there's a big silent majority out there...
I cheer when I agree. I am an Hispanic, a minority now but destined to be one of the majority. In fact, I think I am going to rep bigtexxx right now. Edit: Drat. I have to rep some others first.
This is such an ignorant comment. By any measure of data, black people are racially profiled in this country. Period. Suspicious while black is the status quo in this country. This whole white victim schtick from yourself and texx, giddy, rudan, granny, and gwayneco is pathetic.
pity party alert lazy posts like this are the problem. GZ did not racially profile TM, but we have racially motivated marches, and violence going on today in America in the name of TM thanks to the race hustlers who made you believe he did profile TM...
You're still living in the past and you are afraid of the future. Look at all the inter-racial marriages and different races who hang together. However, when someone wears a hoodie and takes on a gang persona -- black, Asian, Hispanic, white or whatever -- rational people of every color, creed, sex, etc. are alarmed on being approached.
That's fantastic. And congratulations on repping tex. That doesn't change the fact that you tried to make it seem like I was glorying Sharpton and Jackson for openly being racist. I was comparing btex to them...I don't agree with non of them and see them as the problem with the race discussion. They are instigators, and only people that with weak minds can take side with their arguments. They hide behind the "I'm trying to help" bs as they feed off of the hate and separation that they cause.
