Thank goodness some of y'all aren't the GM. Morey would ship out Harden and Parsons in a heartbeat for Lebron. Zero hesitation.
You're an idiot. Lebron's the #1 player. He's so dominating in his game that people are starting to call him the one player that can overcome Jordan..something not even Prime Kobe could do. For a arguably top 15 SF (maybe if he's consistent) and a top 15 player (if he learns to play basic defense)? You do the trade in a heartbeat Lebron + Howard = makes our team instant WFC finalists
I think the only way Harden or Parsons gets traded now is if they ask for it. Everyone watched them recruit Dwight to Houston. Les and Morey wouldn't do that, without consent, imo. A new edition will either involve Asik and/or Lin, or free agency. Harden/Parsons/Dwight = foundation.
Yea, just talk to Tony Parker, D Rose, and to a lesser extent, Durant when Lebron guarded him in the fourth. Or how about holding his opponents to less than 30% shooting? Not good enough? Oh and while on the subject, Tmac could play defense. I do hope you understand that he was brought into the league as a defensive stopper.
A trade deadline deal of Asik/Lin/DMo for Bosh is much more likely than a sign-and-trade deal for Lebron after next season.
Don't know what it stupider - the original post or the fact many of you guys are seriously discussing this. I know we're all on a high having signed the biggest free agent on the market (and literally making the first superstar free agent signing in Rockets history), but you guys are starting to sound like Lakers fans.
Clutchfans - Where James Harden and Chandler Parsons are better than LeBron James. Clutch, I recommend deleting this thread before other fan-bases find it and make a fool out of us.
Don't care that Im getting lashed over what I said. Seeing Harden take over that game against the Heat, personally going toe to toe with James on offense and defense and nearly carrying us to victory? In my eyes he is already a top 5-7 player n the league now. And he can only improve now, at his age. I think if you'd ask me this at the start of the season I'd have said yes without hesitation. But after watching harden and all he's done for us, putting us back on the map and bringing Howard into the fold, I wouldn't want anyone else leading this team. And besides, Miami needed 3 stars to win a title. We are going to do it with just 2.
Yes, if Harden can continue to develop I can see him becoming a top 5-7 player in the league today. Having said that Lebron it a top 5-7 player of all time and could be the best ever when his career is over. This discussion is a joke.
There seems to be a lack of loyalty in this thread. I would never give up a 23 yr old top 5 scorer who took us to the playoffs for the first time since 09 for Lebron James and Chandler Parsons on his current contract should never be traded. People seem to forget that Lebron needed a Super Team to win championships, it's not like he is doing it all by himself. If you give James Harden, Dwayne wade and Chris Bosh, Houston would've won a championship last year.
