I had been married about a year and we had a Peeping Tom situation. My best friend and I were in the den playing a video game waiting on wife who was changing in the bedroom. I kept hearing my dog bark and I walked outside and saw a guy standing near the side of my house looking in the window where my wife was getting dressed. I asked the guy "Hey can, I help you?" He took off running and I chased him. He had a head start on me but I gained on him really quick. I dove and missed him. As I got up, he headed for a car on the street with a driver already inside. He got in and they hauled ass. My friend and I canvassed the neighborhood and saw the car with only the driver inside about 10 blocks from my house. We saw some people standing in a yard 2 houses away looking toward the car. I stopped and asked if they knew the people in the car and they said no. They said they were suspicious because one guy got out and they couldn't figure out where they went. I called the Cops and they said they couldn't do **** unless they caught him in the act of doing something.
Time for LonghornFan to do some vigilante justice. Beat his ass brah. Film it and you'll be famous on WSHH.

I have a CHL but in no way was I going after this idiot for this, plus I was not even carrying since I was close to my home visiting a friend in an "alleged" safe neighborhood as everyone is always outside walking or biking. Who knows what would have happened, and I have a slight temper over **** like this. It also wasn't happening on his property to I had to keep my buddy from going after him with his .45 I figured the Police would show and handle this, but again I was disappointed with HPD. I've sat in many restaurants and have heard their calls that they ignore. It's a complete joke unless there is violence in progress, so maybe next time there will be. This also was not my house and I was trying to get a picture. Kinda weird that this happened right when I am having my security cameras installed on my own home and right after my wife passed her class for a Concealed Handgun. Makes me angry but knowing I have eyes everywhere and a wife who can blow some lead through a head is satisfying.
Cops were probably too busy setting up a speed trap. Oh wait, it's the wrong time of the month. I think you did the right thing by just waiting for the cops. I may have considered following him if he started leaving just to find out what his car was... but confrontation probably wouldn't end well for anyone. Unacceptable that the response time was that long.

It's too damn hot to be walking outside for extended periods, letting alone yanking it. This dude has issues. I worry about escalation too.
