Already used the promo. Don't think there is an undo option.

I'd gladly keep it, I just figured I could wait to get my second one since I am super busy and don't have time or desire to mess with the 2nd TV.

 

I'm not paying full price for an item that came with a free promo to a reseller. I'd rather wait to buy from a retail store unless I was getting a discount. Nobody is buying these from resellers for a markup either.

 

I'm not saying pay at a markup. The device itself w/o Netflix is worth more than $25 is my point. (At least currently it is) Do you plan on getting one at a discount? If so, I'm curious to know as to where. The price also isn't discounted due to lack of Netflix either. Amazon is sold out but they did a pretty good job at getting mine shipping within two weeks.

I too got a similar email this morning from Amazon...

Earlier Amazon told me that the estimated ship date was around August 21st. Demand for this thing must be off the charts...I read elsewhere that apparently 500,000+ of these things were sold on day 1. I don't think Amazon truly knows when our individual orders will ship...my hope is that they're actually getting in new shipments every week or two and shipping them out on a first come first serve basis. It can't be taking Google all that long to manufacture and distribute these things. The estimated date range 2-3 months in the future may just be a placeholder, or Amazon's worst case scenario.

I'm keeping my order b/c Amazon told me earlier that I qualified for the Netflix promo and that they'll email me the code once my order ships.

 

That's crazy. I received the same e-mail telling me it was expected to ship August 21st. They shipped mine last night via one day prime and it's already out for delivery. I also ordered on the same day as you. That doesn't seem fair
