As a fan of college football, not just TAMU, vacated wins years from now or a 2 game suspension would be good news to me at this point.
I hope he does. I want A&M at full strength. I don't want to hear any "Well if so and so was at QB we would have won" Give me your full strength team. If you want to be the best, beat the best.
Maybe this is a little premature, but could someone bring us all up to speed regarding other QBs on the team?
Can't remember his name, but one of the freshman is supposed to an outstanding prospect. The Aggies won't lack for talent, but JM is one of a kind.
So there is video of him signing items. audio of him claiming he would deny signing the items in the hotel as well as turning down more cash for other services
Incarcerated Bob reporting that Manziel will be suspended for 2 games...But I don't think he's legit. Can anyone shed light on this?
Incarcerated Bob is a complete fraud. Here's a good summary of what he does: http://nfldraftmonsters.com/news/is-incarceratedbob-a-complete-fraud/ He basically throws educated darts at a wall. When something seems logical, or things seem to be trending in a certain direction, he makes his best guess and puts it as "sources". On June 27, for example, he reported that the Lakers and Rockets were in talks on a Dwight trade. http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/i...ers-and-rockets-are-talking-dwight.453147825/ What it comes down to: in the Twitter era, people remember when you get the scoop and they easily forget when you don't. There's a huge reward for being right and minimal downside for being wrong. So guys like Bob take their best shot on everything under the sun, then in the months ahead, beat their chests over the list of items they got right (if you make enough educated guesses, you'll inevitably hit on some). The real summary, though? He knows nothing.
The sheep Aggie fans are using some argument about having two 4-stars available if JM can't go. As if that's gonna help... I nominate you for journalistic media police captain.
I think the Aggies my just decide to pull Johnny for the season. Manziel has turned out to be a huge embarrassment and the university may decide he's just not worth all the trouble. Is one player bigger than an entire program or university?
Word! JM can't be that dumb, or can he? I understand talent, ego and such, but c'mon, risk eligibility/playing time for $$$, idiot...I'd have to see the video, and while they taped it w/o his knowledge, he's got to be smarter than that...
A university desperate for continued success in a new conference? Absolutely, a player of Manziel's ability could arguably be bigger than an entire program.
The NCAA are criminals and Manziel is an idiot. He going to lose millions because he wanted rims for his car.
When you have a Heisman trophy winner, the talk of the college football world, and a legitimate once-in-a-lifetime national title opportunity, a school will tolerate a whole lot. That's not a statement on A&M - that applies to most schools.
Garret Gilbert was a 5 star prospect coming out of high shcool. You never know what you got until you see them on the field. But, like you said JM is certainly one of a kind and even if the prospect lived up to what people hope it still won't be the same.
power of the twelfth man...people are naive to think Johnny was the only one doing it....http://texags.com/main/forum.reply.asp?topic_id=2342245&page=7&forum_id=5
