I appreciate the author acknowledging that "assigning a primary position to a player in today's NBA is often more art than science," though I find it kind of ironic that, despite this acknowledgment, he still has written a series piece based on the premise of an entirely outmoded and trivial categorization.

I mean, LBJ had the 5th highest usage % in the league last year (30.2%). He had the 10th highest assist % (36.4%), ranking just behind Jrue Holiday and Deron Williams, and ahead of the Steve Nash, Kyrie Irving, Kyle Lowry, and Jeff Teague. Yet we're calling him a "power forward"? What's the value in using this nomenclature?

10th sounds about right to me. That said, I'd take him over Korver or Kirilenko.

Wait. Did I miss something? Isn't Lebron a SF?

I saw them mentioned that, but they are still top 3 SF in the NBA. That's why BSPN is crap. Knicks play a lot of 3 guards lineup, so does Kidd count as SF?

    LeBron
    Durant
    Melo
    Paul George
    Paul Pierce
    Josh Smith
    Ersan Ilyasova
    Kenneth Faried
    Nicolas Batum
    Kawhi Leonard
    Luol Deng
    Tobias Harris
    Rudy Gay
    Andrei Kirilenko
    Thaddeus Young
    Danilo Gallinari

Parsons should be outside of top 15.

Yea this pretty much sums it up. How can you make a top 10 pg list and not have TP on there? BSPN at its best.

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well. He technically played PF a lot last year, but he's a SF.

My problem with this is Paul George rank low and Granger ranked higher than him. He barely played this season. And is Kyle Korver that good?

It's arguable as far as Leornard. I honestly think both players are even, but they ranked Kyle Korver better than Parsons?:rolleyes: the hell??????
