LOL! Yes, Jim Rome 2.0 is bad, but so is Josh Innes - in most listeners' opinions. However, J&R continue to win the afternoon ratings war and KILT is smart not to disrupt was seems to be working for them. Matt and Adam were good at their job and were the complete opposite of Innes' antics. In the end, Matt and Adam lost their jobs due to low ratings and KBME is simply attempting to gain a ratings edge by broadcasting Jay Mohr - who seems to be controversial and obnoxious. Remind you of anyone currently on an afternoon show? It's always about the Benjamins! Most on this forum b*tch about Innes and swear not to listen to this ass-clown; however his radio show continues to lead the afternoon ratings. Someone must be listening and unless his numbers dip, unfortunately he'll continue at 610.
Yes, trolls always get higher ratings, but only a gullible dolt takes the bait and post about their obvious attempts to draw attention to their show by saying ridiculous things and trying to start feuds with fans and listeners. Trolls don't care what you think about them as long as you talk about them. As I've said before, sports radio is where trolling began, and the first rule of dealing with trolls is to ignore them.
Matt jackson is overrated. yes he was a good partner to wex but they had a long developed chemistry. i have to admit on rare occassions he would delve into politics it would really turn me off. i liked the show because of wex.
Don't like the name of the show, but I do think Lance and Adam make a good duo and I enjoyed what I heard. Wasn't able to hear Mohr's show, but I heard him in the morning and he's right, it's not his fault Matt and Adam were fired.
Yeah, I think he knows the difference he just misspoke. It happens. Jay may not be a sport expert but he certainly knows the difference. Kind of silly for someone to "stop listening" because of that. But then again, that's right up beard's alley
I listened to a few minutes of Lance and Adam's show early in the morning. I'm going to need some coffee before tuning into that show. It felt like trying to catch a greased bouncing superball with your teeth. Christ, there isn't enough Ritalin in the world for those two. Also didn't appreciate Clanton pissing all over my (and probably others') idea of having Rome interview SEC Guy. NOT PROPER, GENTLEMEN! Other than the show seemed on crack, it was pretty good, I guess. I'll tune in whenever I can, though, with the hours they have, it won't be for long. I listened to some of Jay Mohr's interview of Owen Daniels and it seemed a bit forced. I don't know. I can't say I'm a huge fan of national sports talk since most of the talk is going to be about stuff I really don't care about, but I may give it another couple of shots. Like others, I kind of miss Matt Thomas in this slot. His callers seem like they crack coconuts with their heads right before calling in, which helps. I'm kind of surprised at the hate for the In the Trenches show. I have to admit it's somewhat of a bear during the offseason, but when they talk football, I love the show. I really don't care for the "Uncle Greg" stuff, but have to admit there were a couple of times it had me rolling.

I'm not even aware of any affiliation with Jim Rome, so I couldn't care less about that. I really don't know anything about jay mohr, it's not him that is bothering everyone. I'm sure many others are like me in that I simply have no interest in a national sports radio show. I don't care about the ARod story or baseball at all for that matter, I don't care about the lakers or the jets or Alabama. I really only care about my teams. As soon as 790 hit 11 am, I simply turned it off because I have zer interest in listening to that kind of format,
So you have Lance and Adam feeding you crack in the AM and Charlie singing lullabies in the PM. Seems about right to me.
I listened to Jay Mohr from like 105-110 and it was garbaggio. I honestly don't even know what was happening, there were like 20 sound drops and and a couple of different voices going on at the same time. I immediately switched to 610....thanks 790.
when jaymohr would make his guest his appearances on rome, I rolled tape. I always wanted to check out his show but I was lazy to stream it. Lance always brings it so I wasn't worried about that. I was more worried about adam, like stated earlier by others, #reading his twitter feed every 30 seconds#. That was not the case though. Good show, it just sucks that matt and sexy rexy got wacked in the process.

I stopped listening to rome about 06 i also liked mohr's appearences. i was curious what he was like when 790 would do their national advertising.
bad show today, too much arod. had to switch to chupacabra only to hear johnny be news overdose. we can never be satisfied. all i want is texans/rockets/astros in a 45/45/10 split.
So... the show's name. Cliche segment titles like "Out of Bounds"... it wreaks of "we only had 48 hours on a weekend to prepare for our own show and threw a bunch of **** together". Basically they had no offseason to prep for this and the whole thing seems like Charles Barkley the year he came off the bench. It'll round into shape. Eventually.
