These lists are terrible. Iggy is way too high, korver sucks, gallo was the 2nd best player on a great team last year, and Paul George should be #2

Not homerism. Granger hasn't been healthy in a over a year, he probably wont like being a back up to George, and probably wont find his footing for a while. I am being realistic, you are either looking to bash or riding someone's piece.

Keep in mind that this is what these stats and rankings are based off of-

-accounts for a player's efficiency, volume of production and team context

    also-

-I've assigned each player the position he played most often last season. Thus James and Carmelo Anthony won't show up until the power forward rankings.

    ...........

So it makes sense that some veteran players like AK47, Pierce, and Delfino make more of an impact in THEIR ROLES than someone who puts up a large amount of points, and is hugely talented, but when they don't play, the production of the team doesn't slip that much.... Rudy Gay comes to mind almost immedietly.

Also, a player like Paul George might be lower than he should be in value strickly because the team he was on was pretty deep, and the team didn't have a huge production drop when he was on the bench. Paul George's value though as a building block for the future at his age would obviously make him much, much more valuable than on here.

I think Leonard gets an extra high ranking here because of the Spurs lack of lock down perimeter defenders, and his importance of typically guarding the likes of the Lebron James, Durant, and Melo's of the league. He has been key to the Spurs being able to sustain success in the Spurs big 3 twilight era.

Parsons looks to be right around where he should be.

If you look at overall value, and add in these factors-

    -Trade & contract value
    -off the court marketing
    -young building block
    -potential to improve
    -"clutch" offensive gene
-& add back Lebron & Melo to their natural position

You might see the ranking based on overall value(everything considered) it might look more like this-

    1. Lebron
    2. Durant
    3. Melo
    4. P. George
    5. Leonard
    6. Deng
    7. Gallinari
    8. Batum
    9. Parsons
    10. Pierce(even at his age)
    11. T. Harris(upside value)
    12. J. Butler
    13. R. Gay
    14. AK47
    15. H. Barnes
    16. Michael K. Gilchrist (upside value)
    17. Granger

After these 17 guys, you see a mix of veterans who have peaked & young un-developed players on rookie contracts who would have little trade & free agency value.

Sorry for the long post, but hopefully this helps define what is different in the ranking here, and what I define as overall value.

Korver, who I love as a person & shooter, better than Deng?

This list was a waste of my time.

I honestly don't understand why people have issues with listing Lebron as a PF. He is a PF, played most of his minutes last year at the PF position, is the best PF in the game, the best stretch-4 in the game, and a nightmare matchup at the PF position.

Lebron is a PF and Bosh is a center. If not, then Miami has been running a lot of PF/SF/SF/SG/PG lineups.

If you move Lebron and Melo out of SF as this has done, Durant and George are the only two SF's who made the all nba teams.

I think you're mistaking overrated with lack of positional depth.

After Durant and George, you could take about 5 or 6 players including Parsons, that are interchangeable system guys whose performance is directly related to who they're playing for.

It's obvous the system is full of errors. Paul George is number 2 on that list IMO. Kahwi Leonard is a rising star but he should not be higher than Iggy, George, Dehng or even Parsons at this point. Granger was hurt all last season and was no way as good as George and does not look to ever be as good as George again. Delfino at 11? I like the guy but really?

The traditional five positions are outdated anyway. LeBron is more like a PG than a PF or a SF.

If the PG position is defined as the player who handles the ball most of the time to direct and run the offense, then a lot of the dominant wing players are PGs. The "real" PG on their teams are no more than a guy who brings the ball up court, passes it to the star, and then spot up for an open shot.

So basically you wanted to put Parson in the top 10 and that was the point of your list. Two things for me, Lebron James is #1 and Paul George is #3. Also, I really like Leonard's overall game, Iggy defense with a really solid offense.

We all like Parson, no need to push him on everybody. His stock is rated as a strong hold.
