age has nothing to do with it. If each of those 3 dudes is bigger than you, you're pretty f'ed if you try and go in swinging. What's the point of 2 people being beaten to ****? If you have no shot, I'd rather be there to assist the kid after than have no one there to assist both of us.
I don't blame that 64 year old man either. My folks are around this man age too, and looking at that video, those kids would kill them if they punch and stomp on them like that.

Instead of attempting to charge the driver for neglect, why not charge the penises and vaginas that birthed the 3 monsters of neglecting to raise decent human beings? I have seen firsthand what animals like these are capable of in middle school (South Side of Chicago). They are incredibly strong for their age. A 64 year old man against 3 of them? No way. He did the right thing by yelling and calling for help. I blame the mother (or father if there is one) for raising these teenagers that way.

Maybe I missed it, but all I could hear was yelling and screaming for help. Was it definitely a Caucasian kid? I understand the inherent need some people have to argue on here, but in this case does it really matter what color these guys are? The fact is we should all agree that these punks who beat him up deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the stupid Florida law!
The school bus driver should not be charged...these teenagers could have turned on him...if it was someone younger sure but come on,...punish the kids and their parents not the bus driver

Anyone with male relatives over 60 wouldn't want them taking on 3 burly teens already pumped with adrenaline. Aren't buses or drivers equipped with some sort of defense tool? Pepper spray or like the previously mentioned fire extinguisher?
At least those thugs will get an early start on their life of being incarcerated in juvenile Hall. White/Mexican/black....Whatever.....They act like that and they are thugs.... Hopefully they will end up in real jail at an early age and get gang raped and no one helps as they cry. Good lord if this for sure comes out as a hate crime....... Race has nothing to do with this. This is simply a kid getting beat up by 3 older kids. No sugar coating. What makes it worse is that no one even intervened. It's a tragedy, that could have AT THE LEAST been attempted to be stopped.
Although your will says to do it, you're a 64 year old man who's close to retiring. Your only source on income is this job. You see fights like this maybe a couple times a year. Do you want to step in on this one, lose your job, get sued by the student's parents, lose your source of income at 64, and lose your credibility on top of that? But tbh, I agree with you. I would've stepped in. I just don't blame him for not doing it.
Thank goodness for concealed gun licenses. I'm sure this kid will carry one in the future when he comes of age if he hasn't suffered permanent brain damage.
